IMO Pink Floyd are the greatest band the world has ever seen !!! I mean there whole discography is second to none , all there albums are brilliant!!!

Through the years my favourite albums from this band have changed from The Wall to Darkside of the Moon to Ummagumma to my favourite for the last few years The Final Cut !!

So which is the best Pink Floyd Album ever?

If there are any that isnt in the poll just post yr albums :hatsoff:

I don't think they are the best band the world has ever seen but they are among the best. I took Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Meddle and Animals.

Im starting to regret not voting for wish you were here , damn its too hard lol

This question was asked and a lovely little bitch match ensued between most of the members and some nimrod who was born after Pink Floyd broke up and wanted to tell the old timers that they didn't know what they were talking about, even though they'd actually seen Floyd live. Oh, the memories. :1orglaugh

Darkside of the Moon is one of the best albums of all time in music. Actually statistic wise the Eagles greatest hits albums has sold the most ever. but for Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon.

Wish you were here!

Although I have Dark Side of th moon in SACD, incredible!
really hard to pick a fav!

"Wish You Were Here", but "The Wall" was hugely influential. There musical genius showed up in most of their albums.

"There's no dark side of the moon really, matter of fact it's all dark".

Didn't we already have a thread about this?

Fuck it, I can't be bothered to look.

Carry on.

Oh, Wish You Were Here :D

:hatsoff:

Pink floyd is a good prog rock band but I always prefered bands like Genesis , Van der Graaf Generator and Gentle giant for that type of music. My favorite Pink Floyd album is The final Cut.

It's hard to go up against possibly the greatest album of all time, Dark Side of the Moon. But depending on my mood, Animals and Wish You Were Here are also way up there for me, and The Wall was pretty awesome too. All have creative songs and music that pushed the boundaries, and some really good guitar playing by Dave Gilmour.

I remember that.

Being one of the old timers lol my favorite is not even listed. It's the album "The piper at the gates of dawn".

My first live concert for Floyd was "Dark side of the moon" and it was an awesome concert that I will never forget for lots of reasons, some illegal lol.
Saw animals as well.

Dark side was great but more commercial then the earlier stuff.

The worst one out of them all has to be Delicate Sound of Thunder IMO but I still like it

Wish You Were Here

But why was The Piper at the Gates of Dawn not included? Just curious.

Just thought most people on this board wouldnt be old enough to know it , most people just know there most recent stuff :dunno:

Dark Side Of the Moon...one of THE best rock albums ever produced rarely been equaled let alone bettered. Each track being an integral part of the album and not just a small peice of the whole. Sounds as good today as it was when it was first released.
