Is somewhere outhere.
I don't really have one that stands out from the rest.Out of that list I'd say The Wire. But there are loads of others like Father Ted,Still Game,Sin Cities & Eurotrash to name a few, where I can always go back and watch with a chuckle :)

I think both Marlo Manson and I will say that it's The Wire. But Breaking Bad is also right there. Yeah, there are several that were top shelf: The Twilight Zone, Hill Street Blues, St. Elsewhere, Gunsmoke, etc.

I think some shows are overrated and receive "critical acclaim" just because of Hollyweird's fascination with them (*cough cough* Seinfeld and Mad Men).

For years I was adamant that The Sopranos was the best show ever until I watched The Wire and Breaking Bad, I chose Breaking Bad in the poll but in reality I cant really split The Wire and Breaking Bad

Same here. I was a big fan of The Sopranos and then when The Wire came on, that became my favorite show. IMO, the writing on The Wire never went downhill - while I think it did on The Sopranos. I used to watch the teaser previews of the next Sopranos episode and then when it came on, I remember being disappointed sometimes. That never happened with The Wire (or Breaking Bad). I'm not trashing The Sopranos, but at a certain point, I think the hype around the show maybe hurt the writers' abilities to write great episodes every week (like The Wire and Breaking Bad). The exact same thing is happening to Game of Thrones, IMO - Mad Men jumped the shark several seasons ago. So I have no plans to continue watching Game of Thrones when it comes back on. It doesn't seem like they have any interest in telling a great, epic story any longer - just showing boobs, butts and weird shit in order to shock and titillate the least common denominators in the audience.

Totally agree that they dragged out The Sopranos a little bit longer than they needed to which is the same with Dexter. Both The Wire and Breaking Bad were just superb writing and superb acting and there was no filler at all in the 5 series of each, but I am still a big fan of Game Of Thrones and actually forgot about it which is why it aint in the poll.

Out of your list.... The Sopranos. As it's the most successful.

But I'll go with another show... The Broadwalk Empire ... because I'm a big fan of New York's own Steve Buscemi who has an even bigger role in The Broadwalk Empire than he had in the Sopranos. :)

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
I'm surprised no one has brought up "Sons Of Anarchy". I think it's a great show, although it's no Breaking Bad, and it is reaching it's end...which is crucial in not making it suck...I think it still has some great entertainment value.

Mary Tyler Moore Show

Sorry for those who never saw this but this is far and away the best show EVER and the Final Episode is by far the best final show EVER

Chuckles the Clown dying might be the funniest 30 minutes in TV History
