Goodbye from Harley

In what seems to be a bit of a growing trend here lately:1orglaugh I have decided that it is in my best interest to leave FO's. Some will say that I shouldn't have my account closed for fear of wishing to come back, but if there's nothing behind you, then there's no use in looking back.

This has been a little over a month in the making and wasn't really triggered by any one thing or any one member. I was unaware that one could close their account until McRocket did it, and then I felt that would be a good option for me.

I recently conversed with McRocket and he helped me to put things in a better perspective. After reading what reasons and feelings he felt, I realized how similar we are when it comes to board characteristics. I felt he would help me in this decision and he did.

No, McRocket is not responsible for making this decision for me, but he did help me to better understand, and come to a smarter decision.

I just want all my friends to know that I will miss hanging around with you on the board. But you know you can find me under Foxy's control over at her site, or at Beyond The Ropes. Additionally, my hotmail address will stay up so if you have anything to say, feel free to email me through that route.

I'm very sorry to see you go AmericanHarley. I have read many of your posts and I truly respected your opinions very much. You always seemed like a voice of reason and IMO, you would have made a GREAT mod. You also helped many of us Americans feel welcome on this board and I'm proud that you are my countryman sir.

First McRocket and now AmericanHarley....Two members I respect the most, with an exceptional contribution to the board decide to leave. I respect their desicion, but I am sad to see them go. Well, Harley, if you or McRocket decide to visit the other side of the Atlantic, know that I will buy you both an ouzo ***** under the Acropolis I am happy to have known you, trough your posts, and I am really sad to see you go.
