Maybe one-day they'll agree that there's more than one universe and the "big-bang" is like a cosmic fart that happens over and over when you eat to much quantum foam.

It does prove that only a complete idiot could believe in a literal translation of the bible, but that does not prove there is not a god.

That makes absolutely no sense. So, somebody with reason and logic can believe in god, but only an absolute idiot would believe in the source of that god concept?

What you're saying is that is reasonable to believe that there's a crippled psychic named Professor X, so long as you're not foolish enough to take the X-Men comic literally.

As quaint and convenient as the god concept is, you know it from religion. Removing the subject's source doesn't lend it any credibility. Just as the great Cthulhu has foretold before his orgy of carnage and despair.
