Beck has long been a prime example of say or do anything for a buck-all he cares about is his bank account. Just another phony talking head. I really don't understand how anyone takes any of these jerks seriously-and I'm talking about fools from the left and right. I just want to be sure that this well-documented episode from his past is getting out there.

He's clearly such a sleazy creep, but I know that far too many people who consider themselves Christian conservatives are glomming on to him. Poking fun of a woman who had a miscarriage??! Jesus. I can see them applauding a woman who ended up in the hospital because of a botched abortion or something, but this? This should be even too much for them to tolerate.

Whether the vast majority of Republicans do not like him or not, the fact has become that he has become quite mainstream, and his ideology is becoming more accepted by some factions of our nation. Eventually, the Republican leadership will have to ask itself, does it want to be lead by the likes of Beck, Rush, Bush Jr. and Palin? If so, the party will continue to struggle for acceptance, especially when whites become more and more a minority, and the rich white overtly religious white males become dinosaurs.

Can you cite (give me some details, and preferably a link to a news article) one instance of a Republican politician saying something critical of Limbaugh and NOT subsequently retracting it or revising his critique to the point that it becomes completely uncritical (or even largely complimentary)??? One instance.
I can give you several instances where GOPers did just what I talked about right there...

2. What does this have to do with the incident at issue IN THIS THREAD with Glenn Beck ?? Are you claiming that he never did this, he never taunted that woman about her miscarriage when he was a "morning zoo" deejay???

I've only watched Glenn Beck a couple of times, and seen some clips here and there. For the most part, he gave me the impression that he's an idiot, but I was home on Friday and I saw his show with the baseball bat, and he was making some sense, so I don't know what to think of him at this point in time.
