Who's going to watch HBO's Game of Thrones? I hear it's in the same mold of LOTR, which I really enjoyed, so I plan on watching and I read some really good reviews also.

I've read the first two books in the series and while I enjoyed them for what they were, I wasn't as impressed as I assumed I was going to be given their reputation among fantasy fans and non-fans alike.
I'll definitely be giving the show a chance though. It seems like the kind of story that might translate well to the small screen.

I thought it was AWESOME. Different, and I am going to keep watching it!
It's different from LOTR in that Game of Thrones is way more raunchier. There is alot of sex, ****** and adultery and this was all just in the first episode.
I loved the first episode! Lots of ****** ********, nudity, and sex! 
The first episode was a bit gimmicky, but it's severely lacking battle scenes. Even the season preview had very little by way of battle action. The ****** is a little questionable as well.
Loved the first book, haven't seen the first episode yet, honestly it will only pale in comparison IMHO. :2 cents:

What are the odds Sean Bean will die at some point? I lvoe him but he dies in every film he makes!
I think it started out good but last weeks episode was terribly boring IMO. I hope they pick it up this week a bit.
