Reminds me of when Paul Blart: Mall Cop and Observe and Report came out around the exact same time with similar plots as well. Both of those movies got shit for it I think.

Hollywood gets creative scripts all the time. They're sent in by people trying to start in the industry. The problem is that they feel it's hard to sell the public on a new movie/franchise so they go with the tried and true money makers, sequels and remakes. You might see an original idea maybe twice a year and they're usually made by a tried and true director. It's about making money!

I noticed that! They make the same romantic plots, they either make crappy remakes or they just do the same shit over and over, they have to dumb down movies for the American Public these days, its sad!

i had noticed it's marked similarity to no strings attached...oddly enough i'll not be seeing either movie...my favorite is still death at a funeral it came out in 2007 and was in u.s. theaters then in 2010 they remade it...but black instead of british
