why dont they just count only votes from people who have more than a certain amount of posts?

people with one or lesser then 10 votes, should be allowed to vote as well, but some don't understand that this is supposed to be a fun thread ...
I can imagine it's nice to win and stuff like that, but it doesn't give you a price or anything ...
Respect perhaps from a few, and who knows perhaps it last a day or even a week ...

yes its a fun thread but isnt it also a poll to see who the members of this forum think is the best pornstar? so what would be wrong with a post requirement to vote?
suppose they would set the post count at 500, would you like it not to be able to vote ...
Even if they really want to make it selected and they put at 1000 or more, i wouldn't be able to do so as well ...
Voting is for everybody, no matter how much post counts you have, i just find it a pity if you only come over here to vote and then never come back because someone asked it. just my :2 cents:

Personally and I'm probably repeating myself I just think the whole concept of the favourite pornstar poll is too generic to ever make it really work properly.

What is the point in any of us voting and StormRuller putting all this effort into it if at the end of the day the winner got to the top spot by fake votes?

I'll use the same method... new members with less than 10 posts and members that vote for only one girl (except long-time members) will be excluded from the total votes!!

This final reminds me WC 2006 Final "France vs Italy", both are kinda odd.

If we had let the fake votes win in the past, then Katie Fey would have won the GMWC instead of Erica Campbell, and other obscure pornstars and celebrities would have won those championships too.
There's no point any of us voting if one person has voted 50 times.

How do you know she won't win? She won her semi-final, after all. Don't be going around and saying things like that, people are going to think you have the thing rigged. If fake votes don't count, then they don't affect her actual standing anyway, so the real count could still win.
And it would actually mean that Amy Reid and Nikki Benz aren't going to win either, since they have a good amount of fake votes, too.

I can tell you right now, the winner is between 9 girls. The 9 girls who had at least 80% of their votes be real Eve Lawrence is *not* the winner.

Well, has anyone bothered to count the votes and compare them to how many posts each voter had? I've got some bad news for you Eve Lawrence haters. She may have had the most amount of votes of people with 10 posts or less, but she also has the most votes of 11 posts or more. I think I counted that she has 57, Amy Reid has 55, and ALL of the girls (not just Eve) have several voters with 10 posts or less. I checked the others that had 60 votes or more and stopped counting once they got below 55 votes.
You don't have to have more than ten posts. You have to vote for a variety of girls. That is the crucial criteria. There are other factors too. Take my words for it. Eve Lawrence is not even being counted in the final standings. She got through previous rounds because one or two people created dozens and dozens of accounts, and we already knew coming in that she was going to "win". The real competition is between the other 9 girls. End of story. When one girl has enough fake votes to score twice what everyone else scores, she can't even be included. We're not sure what methods the cheaters are using, but it's easy to figure out what to do. They ruined it for their favourite, who quite honestly wouldn't have made it to the final without their padded multi-votes.
Thankfully, this will be the last time this tournament happens. In the past we had moderator help to work out exact totals for fake and real votes, but now we're on our own.
But let me just say, once and for all - Eve Lawrence is disqualified. That does not mean Amy Ried is the winner. Stormruller will be calculating possible fake votes and announcing a winner soon.
And personally, I love Eve Lawrence. My favourite is Shyla Stylez. It wouldn't matter if it was Shyla, Eve, or my mother who got this many fake votes. She'd be instantly disqualified. She shouldn't have even been allowed this far with all the fake voting going on surrounding her, but I wasn't doing the calculations myself.
Anyway, I'll be recommending that the moderators look into the voters for Eve Lawrence and hopefully we will find 3 or 4 of our members (or even 1?) whose IP address is responsible for a lot of those accounts, and that member I'm sure will be banned for life as usual, and that IP address will be banned for life. So if whoever padded Eve x 50 is reading, I suggest you PM me and apologize for trying to wreck our tournament.

And let me add this: it's OK to vote for just one girl, but it's only the members that voted for just one girl that we will be investigating, plus certain other members that we suspect. Post count, date of joining and content of posts will also be taken into account.
