Freeones has never looked better to my eyes !!

Just got Lazik, laser eye surgery. And now everything looks so much clearer, sharper and so much more beautiful-er.
I know I didnt get a 3D enhancement, but boobs look like they pop out on screen now ;)

It was quite the experience, scary and exciting at the same time.

If I ever had to do it again though for some reason I will ask for 2 Xanax, as Im a bit twitchy when things get near my eyes. I couldnt even let go of the stress balls when it was over that they let you hold while operating lol.

Just glad everything went smoothly and I can see !! See farther again that is.

Heres looking at you Freeones :)

If couldn't imagine not wearing glasses. If I got lasik, I'd still wear some nice frames without the prescription lens.

Thanks all.

Unfortunately I just experienced my first side effect. I see halos and starbursts, more starbursts than halos it seems.

Driving out last night for the first time head lights looked the starburst bulb and the top right pic of the street poles. So not as bad as it can be but still thinking positive that it may go away with time.

It was one of my side effects they said may happen due to larger than average pupils and astigmatism from rubbing eyes alot.
To bad they make you sign those lovely waivers that state all that before the operation. It was a chance i took but during the day im still happy to see 20/20 and possibly better.

Once I go back this week for a check up ill talk about the many eye drops, aprx. 15 drops each eye a day, that I have to take to see if I can use somthing better to help it out.

lol .... i was actually thinking about gettin that done

I'm going to need glasses soon.:spanking:

I can't see a thing either...if i wasn't too scared i should do that too.

Doesnt hurt to go for a free consultation if your thinking of it. You may not be a candidate for Lasik, PRK was the other option they gave me due to the astigmastism, at least that one they dont slice your eye but heal time is alot longer and many more eye drops.

I'm starting to develop a problem with with the vision in one of my eyes. I'm kind of afraid to get it checked out not only because I don't know what might be wrong, but even more so because I don't have insurance for it and don't have the money to get anything major fixed.

i wait for those crazy sales. 2 pairs of glasses, an a free exam for 70 bucks or someshit. for an extra 15 bucks you can get the in-depth eye checker machine that will screen you for all sorts of issues.

might be a cheaper way to do it. ive never had insurance either. and since its medical, there's no tax.

I kind of have a hint at what's wrong, and I'm afraid that I will have to go in and have them tell me I'm going to need surgery to correct the problem. If it's one of those things where if the problem can be fixed for a couple of hundred bucks that's doable, but if it's something that will require surgery, set me back thousands of dollars, and keep me out of work, then I just can't afford to have anything done.

Even if somehow they could classify it as a regular medical problem and have it under normal insurance and not the typical eye insurance stuff what I have is so lousy it hardly covers anything. I'm just really hoping it doesn't get worse than it already has, but I think it is.

fuck man, that sucks. its an insurance controlled work and its bullshit. i know where you're coming from. i cant afford anything, let alone any sort of insurance.

i hope everythings gonna be ok for you though. its a shit situation for sure.

Ya that would suck if its expensive without any coverage.
This operation set me back just under $4k but I spread the payments through a year, hoping to be paid off before the interest kicks in next year at 8%
Fortunatly my work has good eye coverage so I was able use that on my op, couple hundred was better than nothing.
