Yaah, so did America...we sell it to everyone, just like Russia, China, and England...and unless "jock" means righteous dude with a badass Harley, bite me.

You truly are, an infected ballbag, full of festering cocksnot. STFU....then, GTFO.
Oh, I'll bite you ;)

I wonder who North Korea will sell their nuclear (or nukular if you like that spelling better) material to.

And quite right she shouldnt have a state funeral either, the only other politician to have had a state funeral was Churchill, and he did more for this country than that evil woman ever did. Im not going to celebrate her death as thats bad taste, but she played a huge part in breaking up the social structure of this country and destroying many working class towns in the north of england and scotland. Not to mention giving her support to terrorists and dictators like Pinnocet and Sadam Hussein while calling Nelson Mandella a terrorist. She sold the country's soul for profit and thats why many will be dancing in the streets tonight.

she shouldnt be given the honor of a state funeral but the facts of her reign as prime minister need to be clearly reported to let people form their own opinions of her and not be made out to be some kind of saint. She started the very ideology that Cameron is now desperately trying to emulate.
Celebrating her death isn't so bad taste according to her, see where I've quoted myself.
Now tell me what Churchill did for this country that was so great. Was he out there on the front line himself?
Wow, I'm gonna be honest, I'm pretty surprised by some of these comments and the people that have posted them. I guess respect for the dead is something that's lost on most people these days. Oh and where would the UK be now if she had not come along....probably under the complete control of the trade union crooks....

Best wishes to probably one of the strongest women to have ever lived.....
Again, check out where I've quoted myself here.
Also, as a non-English person, I suggest you don't approve of thatcher - you're liable to incur my wraith and thus spanking will ensue.

Look back about 4 posts worth of "why's"...you answered your own question. Now quit fuckin with me, until you have a better reason. Thank you.

I'm not a Brit so - I have no stake in the argument, as an American I will remember her as Ronnie's loyal British Terrier.
but just curious, how many of you were actually old enough to remember her?
I was a teenager when she was in office and I'm an old fart now, I can only imagine half of you discovered masturbation when she was in office, the rest were probably still in diapers.
My point is having lived through 4 decades of politics, I notice the news and attitudes of the day are far different of what they are now, and those who cry foul the most not only were barely aware if alive at the time, but blame figures of the past for problems that should be fixed by the people in power now, often of which the same people praise (and which their children will condemn).

Is it ecause I expect a better answer than because or because of the factually accurate pic I posted?
Will you two quit arguing, you're ruining Dead Tory Month.
Sorry.
Ya heathen Mick

Well, that probably has to do with the fact that we primarily see the younger generation on the internet.

Just as an aside, the Argentine aircraft that attacked the Brits were none other than american-made A4 Skyhawks.

I have a lot of respect for Mrs Tatcher, she did and took a lot of decisions that have helped the uk back in the 80's-early 90's. Mr Atlee wasn't perhaps as charismatic nor efficient as Mrs Thatcher and back in the 50's-60's, it was a period of full employment so you can't compare the 50's-60's with the late 70's-80's

I was gonna troll this post, but then you appeared to show respect for Atlee.
Would you mind telling me your opinion of Atlee?

I amn't born in the late 40's-50's so I can't give you a concrete opinion about Atlee. But I was born in 1978 one year before Thatcher arrived at power so she is a politician of my generation, it also may explain why she also gets my preference.

I'll tell you my opinion, he's probably the only one of your prime minsters who I've ever respected.
You know what he did with the Raj?
In my opinion he's THE best.

Judge by history, please.
After all, being so young when Thatcher was in power, are you really in a better position to judge her than Atlee?
