Judging from some tallies of initial note. The board traffic has been a little sparse this year from OCSMs as opposed to years passed. The top vote getters this round seem to also correlate with being the Top posters on the board this round. I know some of the other ladies are making a big push via Twitter as well. Yay, I'll play : ) I love this sort of stuff!

1. Hmmm. I think the categories are great this year. The only thing that I can think of is a Fetish Model category. How that would be defined, I don't know exactly. But it makes me think of ladies like Mandy Flores, Lolita, Miss Hybrid of course and there's so many others that would fit in this category. I recently started exploring fetishes with my Clips4Sale store and having a blast with it so it's definitely a new interest of mine.

2. As always, I love Miss Hybrid's contribution to the contest. She puts so much time and effort into her thank you pics, displays quite a bit of creativity and just makes things more lively. I do enjoy seeing all of the ladies sexy pics though!

3. Honestly, it seems that many girls don't even know that the contest is going on or really care. I haven't seen nearly as many tweets or OCSMs posting but it is still early in the contest. I think it would be weird if someone won a category and didn't even put in any effort whatsoever to driving traffic to this site.

4. I love to write. I don't do it enough but I'm getting back into it. Also, I have had many random weird jobs during my life thus far, some of them being...a mystery shopper for Taco Bell, a telephone psychic (which was total bullshit), a face painter, a fitness instructor, I used to be a SAG background actor, I had a successful dog walking business, bartender, the list does go on. I plan to write a book about this, it's pretty unique!

5. I've definitely learned to live more in the moment and be present. The past is a memory and the future is only an expectation. I focus on the here and now and as a result, I am happier and more relaxed. I have learned to try and go with the flow of life. I've started practicing more yoga and meditation and it all melds together.

6. I joined FreeOnes as a suggestion of my webmaster years ago to help promote my site. I didn't plan on liking it here so much! I think the boards have gotten much better lately, much less trolling and nonsense drama and that makes it a more fun place for me. And honestly, I like looking at the sexy pics : ) I am a perv too you know! And I've grown quite fond of many people in this community over the years : ) It's a pretty cool little hang out spot.

I'm gonna have to agree with Mandy's idea for an Independent category. I'm not sure if I can think of a better idea than that. In past years, it's seemed like the winners have mostly been girls backed by major companies, with girls like us not getting near as much recognition other than from our die hard fans (which I sincerely appreciate! This year is proving to be awesome so far, a big change from before).

It's easy to work with a big company like Brazzers, NaughtyAmerica, etc. and get seen by thousands, possibly millions, and get paid for every shoot you do, be provided makeup and hair, sometimes clothes and toys, have so much promotion being done for you, be recognized simply for working with a big name. It's harder for us independent girls that have to pay out of pocket for everything we do, work harder trying to keep our name up there, competing with the big guys.

Though I'm not sure how much fans would care about that category, as the chosen categories tend to be pretty broad and not have much to do with how much work they really put into anything. It's all about favorites, beauty, tits and ass, not so much about recognizing the amount of effort and work we put into everything. Nothing wrong with that of course, but... just food for thought. Seeing as voters tend to simply vote for their favorites rather than actually looking into who is really the most deserving of a particular category, I'm not so sure a category like that would work out in the end.

I have to agree with Mandy and Maggie, Miss Hyrbid is very impressive! She goes out of her way to go above and beyond what you might expect and has such a unique way about her. She continues to surprise every year, I still remember her tour videos from 2013. I give her my full support for MissFO, I can think of none more deserving!

Do you feel that this inclusion makes the contest more open and drives participation or do you feel it unnecessarily floods the field with competition regardless of their level of interest?

I actually think it's a good thing. Since there's so many more girls who are in the contest this year, that means lots of votes are going all over the place to different girls. Everyone has their favorite, who can be anyone from the biggest production company to the deepest reaches underground. If you take a look at some of the threads regarding, "Who's your favorite such-and-such?" "Who has the sexiest ass?", there are an infinite amount of favorites that many may have never even heard of. How many of those girls are promoting the contest? Seems to be not many. Since the votes for random favorites are pretty spread out, that means the girls who are the most active are getting the highest standings. Least it seems to be working out that way

4. Unlike the typical answers of "I like to travel, read, and listen to music," everyone has a secret interest or hidden talent- like German Expressionist film or playing the clarinet, etc. What are some of yours?

Honestly... I don't have any really unusual talents or interests. Does singing when no one's home count? Or my insane love of cheese? You might witness me pouring an entire container of parm at a restaurant on my spaghetti. Seriously though, I spend most of my free time playing video games and watching tv.

5. People grow and change. From the end of the 2013 contest to the beginning of this year's contest, can you name one thing that has happened in your life that has changed or improved your outlook on life?

So much has changed this year! For better or worse, I'm not quite sure yet. It's been a bit of a roller coaster, and it's not going to get much easier anytime soon, but I'm hanging in there. Earlier this year, my boyfriend and I broke up, and we've still been living and working together ever since, trying to make things work. It's caused a ton of stress, and I had to deal with periodontal disease much of the summer, which was extremely painful and inhibited my life in aspects that I often take for granted.

Now I may be making the biggest change of my life... moving to Canada! It's not going to be easy, but I'm really looking forward to it and hoping for the best. It's been my first time to another country, and while it's not much different from the US, it's pretty eye opening to see and read about the political differences. Where there hate speech is illegal (from what I've read) and freedom of press is nowhere near the same, here you have racism, awful things spread around the news, and so many hateful things being done and said.

All of that being said, I'm excited to be experiencing new things. If you live in a shell your entire life, never taking risks or trying new things, you'll never grow or change.

6. Finally, though the Miss FreeOnes contest is open, there's definitely no requirement to join or participate on the boards here. What made you decide to initially join, and what keeps you coming back to deal with all of us?

I had no idea FreeOnes even existed prior to having my site launched back in 2011, so it was initially my webmaster who prompted me to join. At first I thought, "Great, just another site I have to sign up for..." but as soon as I saw it and started participating, I loved it! It's all the posters and interesting topics that keep me around. I've gone through spurts of spending hours upon hours talking on the board and at other times, hardly having enough time to get on the computer much at all, but in the end I'll always be around. You might be stuck with me

A) You know, actually yes. Miss Hybrid. She is going to win miss freeones. She actually emailed me and asked if I needed any help with figuring out how the site works and told me I could email her back anytime for any questions or help I need. That was really cool!! She's chasing a crown and still has the time to be a sweetheart and help everyone else out... that's class!!! I really hope she wins the 2014 crown!!! Now that im more familiar with her and her work. She really deserves it!

A) I am secretly a scrabble shark!!!! I play it on my iphone all the time!!! I seriously will take you down...lol...!!!! I'm also unbelievably good at "Go Fish"... I know you're thinking "How can you be good at Go Fish?"... I cant explain it... I just am. It is what it is. I seriously can't remember the last time I lost even one hand!!! lol... ;-)

A) Yes, since the fall of last year I have moved to a house in a new neighborhood that I really like and I now have the space for a photo studio in my own home!!! That has made life for me a lot easier! I can shoot downstairs now!!! Makes work a lot easier when its down a flight of stairs. And its great for my fans too... they get a lot more of me ;-)

A) Thats an easy question!! Freeones is one of the biggest and best communities on the internet as far as the adult industry goes. So coming here at first was purely to see what all the hype was about. And now that Im here...It would be an honor to win in ANY category here. Thats why I first started posting on here for the contest. But now, after meeting all the amazing people I have.... I'd have to say I'm a bit hooked. I love talking with new people and making new friends!! Thats what is so amazing about this technology we have in the modern world. I have friends all over the world.... literally everywhere... That wouldn't have been possible on the scale it is today 15 years ago even. We take it for granted, but if you think about it...it really is pretty fucking amazing!! I thought there would be more trolls and rude people all over the board. But everyone here is pretty amazing so far!!! Thats why I keep coming back
