ANALYSIS AND MOVEMENTS

Overall, the movements have been relatively static and the roster for Round 2 is almost fully set.

• Making a strong charge late in the round is Chloe Conrad, as she moves up 7 spots in Best Newcomer to stake her claim in Round 2. Though, as we have seen in this category, the results do tend to be rather fluid, especially with Terri Jane and Sexy Venera close behind.

• At this point of the contest, in Miss FreeOnes, the power of hardcore supporters and the size of established fan bases is very visible, as (for many candidates) bandwagon supporters tend to disappear, especially among lower the lower spots. This can be seen when looking at the likes of Clayra Beau (up 7 to 279), Sexy Venera (up 8 to 216), and especially Vanilla DeVille (up 10 to 42) versus the likes of newcomers Terri Jane (down 13 to 175) and Chloe Conrad (down 13 to 218).

• In the Best Cam Girl category, Brianna Frost has fallen 2 spots and, thus, out of the next round. In a fluid category like this, can she make up 2 spots in 1 day?

• Even though she won't advance in Best OCSM, Karen Kougar's 10 spot move is admirable, but I must admit that, in this category, Karen Kougar definitely merits a better position than 72.

Looking over this what sticks out to me is that despite the occasional big mover, which might be the most interesting parts of what this thread is showing, is that other than the first few days most of the positions are more or less static once they get going. Much effort has to be made midway through to change somebody just a spot or two especially as one nears the top of the list.

It will be interesting seeing how moving to a different rounds changes that considering people have less votes to work with. This is a mostly educated guess, but I think it won't change that much or if it does places might move even less than or at least need more effort to make it happen for no other reason than people will have less votes to shore up somebody they think is behind where they should be. Of course it could be the opposite where certain people might not get all the votes of somebody where they didn't before because that voter doesn't want to risk deluding the vote of their favorite. Still that probably won't matter as much until the final round.

i fear there will be less movement. with ten votes i had more freedom to include more girls. with only five, i may only be able to change one of the five if that. the other categories even less

Just means that the ladies will have to work even harder to keep your affections, which may not be a bad thing. However, for the picture trolls, that may not be something worth sticking around for. :anonymous:
Also, it means that board drama will heat up, too. Last year, things turned into a catfight between some contestants and board members. I'm still hoping that sometime in the near future, we can bypass all of that with one big baby oil orgy
