BIG NEWS: As of today's votes, I've officially dropping Houston from my list. While I do still like her, due to her lack of participation here as well as the fact that the contest (at least the length of the first round) has been shortened, thus meaning less votes to go around, I cannot continue to vote for her. For the time being, I'll use this vote to cover my wild-cards. On another note, tomorrow begins the overhaul of my voting.

THE NUMBERS: This will be the first of several sections looking at how the contestants I'm follow are fairing. Before going to the full set of numbers, there's already some news.

• While it took a late push to get Miss Hybrid into Round 2 last year, there seems to be no worrying about making the cut this year, as she sits high on the charts of each category she entered.

• Dors Feline, who sadly and by a small margin missed the cut in last year's contest, appears to be on fire this year. She's currently in the Top 30 in 5 categories.

• Newcomers Tegan Brady and Spexy Ashleigh are wasting no time in making an impact with board members and voters, they both appear to be making the cut in a combined 9 categories (4 for Tegan, 5 for Spexy).

• In just the first day of keeping track, there have already been some big moves. Lilly Roma is up 13 spots, Totally Amanda is up 12, and Clayra Beau is up 10. It looks like other fans and voters are discovering these stunners. Closer to the top, the always popular Rebekah Dee is up 5 spots to #83 and Spexy Ashleigh has moved up 5 spots to break into the Top 50, at #47.

Personally, I think it makes sense to enter as many categories as possible. I'm in 4 of them, and only really in the top 15 in one of them - which is a big shock. I don't expect to win any of the categories, but it's a fun way to get my name out there, so to speak. If I make top 10 in any of them I'll be the happiest girl in the world.

Personally, I think it makes sense to enter as many categories as possible. I'm in 4 of them, and only really in the top 15 in one of them - which is a big shock. I don't expect to win any of the categories, but it's a fun way to get my name out there, so to speak. If I make top 10 in any of them I'll be the happiest girl in the world.

Just to keep everyone updated, Jinxypie is currently 85 in Miss FreeOnes, 10 in Newcomer, 60 in Official Site, and 49 in Best OSCM.

Jinxypie, was your decision to be in more categories influenced in any way by the fact that you are considered a newcomer? Perhaps as a way of introducing yourself to a wider range of people/voters/etc.?

MAKING A MOVE: Although the next fully updated rank/position posting won't be for several more days, the last 24 hours have seen some very big moves.

• Rebekah Dee continues to climb at a rapid pace, jumping 10 spots to 73 in Miss FreeOnes AND going from 79 to 56 in Best OCSM.

• Lilly Roma proves that her jump yesterday was no mistake, by going up massive 20 spots. In 2 days, Lilly has gone up by a remarkable 33 spots.

• Continuing to make a respectable showing, Dee Dee Deluxx moves up 10 spots to 198.

• The biggest spot move in the Miss FreeOnes contest today comes from Terri Jane, who has vaulted 21 spots to 171- not bad for a "Newcomer."

• Though other moves have been larger, the move with the most impact comes from Jane Burgess, who, by moving up 10 spots to 46 in Miss FreeOnes and moving up 8 spots to 26 in Cam Girls, has been put in a position to advance to Round 2 in both categories.

• The race for Best Newcomer seems to be heating up as well, with hefty multiple spot moves by Bobbia CWH (83 to 69), Sexy Venera (50 to 39), Terri Jane (41 to 32), and Samantha Wise (20 to 15).

Open Question: As we all know, this contest is set to last 6 weeks. Every 2 weeks the contestant pool shrinks: Miss FreeOnes goes from 400+ to 50 to 25, and Best OCSM (for example) goes from 149 to 30 to 15. Arguably, interest is decreased when more "favourites" get eliminated. In order to keep people's interest, should the contest be longer or possibly allow more competition into the later rounds or perhaps something else?

I seems to me that the average voter either votes in all the available categories for a Model, ... or doesn't!. Only a small percentage make a serious effort to Vote on a consideration of merit. A point that Mariahxxx made elsewhere.

• Is Lilly Roma unstoppable? Adding to previous moves, she's up another 11 spots to 196 in Miss FreeOnes. For those keeping track, she's moved up an astonishing 44 spots in 3 days.

• Buoyed by a now united Aussie contingent (http://board.freeones.com/showthread.php?t=460470), Chloe Conrad is starting to move and is up 15 spots (from 244 to 229) in Miss FreeOnes.

• More Miss FreeOnes: September Carrino is up 8 spots to 61 and is closing in on a coveted spot in the top 50. Bella Bellini and Karen Kougar are also starting to pour it on, up 6 spots to 110 and 9 spots to 150, respectively.

• Congratulations to Brianna Frost, who has moved up 3 spots to claim the 30th and final spot in the Cam Girls section; however, moving up 4 spots to 31, Bella Bellini is poised to take her own place among the top 30.

• Mega-popular newcomers Tegan Brady and Spexy Ashleigh seem to be gaining a spot a day in almost every category. If they are doing this good as "newcomers," I'd hate to see what it will be like when they are established.

• Finally, today's big move comes courtesy of Camerella Cams, who shifted into top gear and moved up an unbelievable 27 spots in Miss FreeOnes, from 144 to 117. For an encore, she also moved 7 spots closer to the top 30 in Cam Girls; she's currently at 38.

Open Question: For anyone who has been a member of this board for a relatively decent amount of time, say more than 3 months, I'm sure that you have no doubt noticed the large number of new board members who are posting messages and voting in the Miss FreeOnes contest. So far, this dramatic increase in membership and interest is looking like a marketing coup for FreeOnes, but is it sustainable? Do you think that many of these new members will stay on and become regulars after the contest ends?
