This was a really great little story in Daily Star Sunday today...

It's one of them stories that just shows how a TV show can live on after sadly short run due to a sad lost.

I had no idea "Ted" had died. I thought that was a great show, very different and very funny as are so many BBC comedies, but "Father Ted" really stood out. I have one season on DVD.

I just read of wiki that he died the day after recording the last episode of Father Ted... Strange coincidense.

Absolutely hilarious .. I loved Father Ted .. great balance of characters. And every so slightly wacky stories.
There used to be a t-shirt available with the words drink feck girls arse .. in large celtic script ..

Like with The Simpson's /Family guy etc. I'm at a loss. I will check it out though. Like a show Trailer Boys or something I had heard was good. I doubt I get it here, but both sound worth checking to see if I do.

Trailer Park boys is good, but set up more like a soap opera, a really different flavor then Ted. I posted a clip of Ted, can't find it and went back to Youtube where there are a lot of them.

In one episode, Dougal wears a T-shirt that says 'It's a Priest thing' ..apparently the filming crew wore these all the time.
