Hands down Pulp Fiction. IMO, it's one of the best movies of all time.

Kill Bill, followed by Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs..the rest of his movies have been crap.

If you want to get really technical, pretty much all of his movies are rip-offs of other movies by foreign directors. He tends to "borrow" pretty liberally, but I suppose people don't care that much as long as it's entertaining.

Your thief is my eclecticist...

Scorsese has also been borrowing heavily from the works of other great directors, but I wouldn't employ this fact as an argument against him.

Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs were great, but it seems a lot of the time his movies are just trying to be Quentin Tarantino movies, instead of just letting his creativity flow.

Kill Bill was entertaining, but it wasn't ground breaking. I did really enjoy Death Proof though.

The guy just needs to change his style a bit, it's getting old.

That being said, he is without a doubt one of the greatest directors of our time. Which is impressive for a guy with such a few titles under his belt.

I like Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, in that order. I wish he would finally make the third part of that story, The Vega Brothers.

he's the most famous director of his generation, so i guess he deserves a thread, right?

I love him but I don't know that I would rate him as the "most famous director of his generation". Not with Brian DePalma and the Coen brothers around anyway. I would agree that, if there was a "Mount Rushmore" of directors from the last 2 decades, he's definitely have his mug carved into the rock however.

Good thread!
