Coors Light & Keystone Ice/Light have been my go-to for a-while, but damn! I'm so broke on this winter vacation I bought a 6-pack of 16 oz Rolling Rock cans because they were $4 & I recalled RR being at least alright, but this blows Coors/Keystone out of the water!

Sure, I miss my Lagunitas/Southern Tier/Full Sail/etc... but when you need more than 1 beer & are flat broke, a 6-pack of RR 16's hits the spot! At least if you are me!

"Well workin' real hard ain't hard to do,
When you got you a lotta money comin' to you,
But I ain't got a dime so I'll just sit here... Yeah!
Even though I'm broke I've got a six-pack of beer!"

Drinking my brother's homebrewed Belgian Tripel now, which is rather tasty. Glad I didn't have to suffer through the ol' RR for long!

it might be cliche, but Pabst Blue Ribbon is my favorite cheap beer. 4 packs of 16oz. cans for $3.19 at 7-11, or $1.50 a can at my local pub. gets it done, and i've been drinking it since I could legally drink. Good fuckin' times!

I am a failure to the Korean side of my family
Busch, Coors Lite, Bud Lite, PBR, Miller High Life, Red Dog, Natrual Lite, Black Label, and Schlitz.

PBR is the only piss beer that I will willingly drink. It's usually $2 bucks during happy hour. Can't go wrong with that!

I'll drink any beer going.

Tennent's is pretty cheap, depending on where you go. I also like it though

I like all of the ones you listed there that i have heard of, bud, coors, millers

All beer is cheap for me though, since i go to student unions, where the price of a pint never goes above £2:50

OP doesn't know pisswater. Schlitz, Milwaukee's Best, and Natural Lite will put hair on your chest.

If I want a beer to guzzle on a hot summer day, with absolutely no regard for flavor, it'll be Miller Lite. It's basically just carbonated water with a faint beer aftertaste, but it tastes the least like piss of all the low-end beers I've ever had, and it's thoroughly refreshing when I'm really thirsty. Any other situation and I'll probably grab something more expensive.

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
Miller High Life.

Back in college it was Keystone Light. We used it for beer pong, drinking games, and tailgating. I don't think I've had it since I graduated. I just can't stomach it any more.

We got a brand of beer here called Pilsner (which, evidently enough, is a pilsner). Horrible taste, but when you are sitting outside at a football game in -20 it warms you the fuck up.

I quit drinking years ago, but, I would always get a six-pack of something relatively decent and a case of something really cheap. By the time you're through with the six pack you really couldn't tell the difference.

Anybody dig the 211? :pukey:

One man's garbage is another man's treasure. At the restaurant in the hotel I work at, a pint of Tennants will run you $6. An imported cheap beer is still an import I guess.

People think Coors and Bud are cheap crappy beer? Crappy maybe. PBR, Lakeport and Old Milwaukee are way cheaper, and taste better.

If you want to be real cheap, save your empties and go to one of those DIY breweries. The one I go to is 8 24 cases for $90 if you have your own bottles. They have tons of recipes too.

Coors is my "going out drinking beer" because it never gets me drunk and I can still drive after having one or two, it doesn't even give me a buzz. But if I'm NOT going to drive and I feel like having a beer, I don't drink cheap beer. I usually have the more expensive brands, preferably imported German or British stuff if available.

Natural Light. $17 for a 30-pack. It doesn't get any cheaper than that.

When you drink as much as I do, sometimes quantity trumps quality.

I can purchase 6 cans of pretty much any brand of piss water at my local for £5: Fosters, Carling, Heineken, etc. But as a person who pretty much detests lager, I rarely ever buy it.

On the odd occasion that I do, I'll probably go for the Heineken. Not exactly sure why, they all taste pretty much the same.

Maybe because the cans are green and that ... uhm .... something.
