Alvin Lee can hardly be considered jazz. Unless, of course, you're talking about Kenny G. The bassist and drummer in Ten Years After were great, but all Alvin Lee did was play fast phrases that were WAAAAAAAAAY too long to be interesting. In the time it takes for him to play through a phrase I can watch an episode of House, do 3 loads of laundry, walk my dog, jerk off twice, and eat dinner, all before the end of his first phrase. :tongue:
