That would definitely be a MUCH better show than the last one I worked there (Counting Crows & Maroon 5).

On a side note, the stage manager, Bob Wuy, is a big Tool & NIN fan. Every time either of those bands plays he goes apeshit and starts singing and dancing all around backstage. It's always good to see him singing and dancing instead of yelling and chewing people out, which he does often. :)

I don't know about that. I think Anette gives them a different sound. It's not as eloquent as Tarja's sound, but I like it. It's more of a playful sound. While a song like "Gethsemane" or "She Is My Sin" wouldn't sound right with Anette's voice, I couldn't picture "Meadows of Heaven" or "Eva" being sung by Tarja. Especially "Eva", which I think is more innocent than what Tarja could do. The only time I think I've heard Tarja's voice sound playful is on "White Knight Fantasy". :hatsoff:

Totally agree, i stopped listening to Nightwish after Tarja left, couldn't stand Anette's voice and the new musical direction of the band.

Yeah, I see what you mean about the way their music is heading. They go from a kick-ass record like Oceanborn to the more subdued, artsy Dark Passion Play. I still like them, but Tuomas' music and writing have definitely gone a different direction from where they started.
