Fans of wrestling thread

Yeah, the oversized t-shirt really shows their commitment to make them look less sexy as possible. The only real rule is that they can't show exposed skin, so they could get away with tighter clothing. Meh, maybe in the future. It's still an achievement that they're wrestling in the country in the first place.

Tighter clothing can give off their assets more. Like Bayleys nice ass if she wore tight jeans so have to be loose.

Re-watching Halloween havoc reminds me how awesome Io is. Bad enough falling off the top of a ladder, but onto another ladder?
How she isn't paralyzed amazes me. You know you had a great spot when even after the match is done, they're talking more about you than those who won the match.

From RAW earlier tonight.
I hate how they call these idiots "fans". You wouldn't call a heckler a "fan", so why should this be different.

Kudos to Seth for not pounding on the guy and letting security handle it. If I were in his position I don't think I could resist the temptation to get some kicks in. I recall Otis getting in a good cheap shot at Bret's assailant. I hope someone did the same to this prick.

I think Tony Schiavone should also consider voice-acting. I think he's more suited to playing a vulgar, sarcastic, smart-ass, and raunchy character.

I think it's pretty groundbreaking that Mickie James, not only a wrestler for TNA, but a reigning TNA champ, has been confirmed for the Rumble. I don't think WWE has ever promoted a wrestler who currently works for a major competitor, especially for a major PPV event. (I think they had the odd ROH wrestler, but never TNA)

I love a good promo. It might not be pipebomb level, but I love it when they straddle kayfabe & shoot. Pretty cool how the crowd was booing him at the beginning, and by the end they were chanting his name.

I think Cody has pretty much turned but is still acting like he's in the conflicted state. Some of his behavior during his promo was pretty heelish even if another part seemed to be seeking babyface pops from the crowd.

I do wish Cody would stop breaking kayfabe during promos using more insider terms. You don't have a discussion with the audience about turning heel. You either do it or don't but it is your actions that determine that.

People are criticizing Kofi for "botching" his Rumble spot, but it was damn near suicidal to begin with. It bugs me that all the potato-couch neckbeards are making it out to be some epic fail. It's hard enough to land on the railing with no give several feet from the ring, but to do it from the top rope? If he didn't land on his feet he would have had broken ribs.

Yeah. Kofi will always be one of the main reasons to watch the Royale Rumble. I'm usually more interested in how he avoids getting eliminated than in who wins the thing.

I liked the Reigns/Rollins match a lot. Lesnar winning the Rumble did nothing for me. I can only handle Brock these days in short programs. I do hope we get a better Lesnar/Lashley match in the future though.
