Totally agree. When you have PPVs too often they stop being special.
Last month I think we had a week were between all the feds, we had a PPV every day of the week. It's like they think we don't watch anything else.

It's also hard on the talent. I always dread the Raw after a PPV, especially if they put talent who wrestled a great match on the PPV the night before. You can't expect them to be both physically and mentally able to put on a great performance less than 24 hours after they just put on a PPV match. Even worse when it's a PPV "rematch" between the exact same people from the night before. That's the worst.

...and still more spring cleaning. Some surprises too - Velveteen, Borne and even Duke. Fair to say most of these didn't get a Chance to prove themselves.

Wolfe was the one i was most surprised at

Speaking of future endeavors, lots of backstage staff, especially from the media divisions were let go today.

Probably no one anyone would know by name. But they said several redundant divisions were being merged, so that's a lot of people. And just as they announced that they were going back on the road again...

Again sorry I do not follow wrestling much over the past 2 years but I see the WWE supposedly cut more wrestlers with Braun Strowman being the one I know the most about, the others were supposedly Aleister Black, Lana, Ruby Riott, Murphy and Santana Garrett. I remember Lana with Rusev. The WWE has made a mess of wrestling over the years and just seems to get worse. Good luck to those wrestlers and I hope they make WWE pay for letting them go. Thank you, just makes no sense.

As surprising as Braun's release was, I'm reading that his contract was just too expensive (going to 2023) for what they were getting, so it wasn't surprising.
What I don't get is why they didn't renegotiate - I'm sure he would have taken a pay cut to keep his job.

Riott was a veteran beyond what they gave her credit for. I remember when she had to carry the botching bellas you could literally see her covering up for their mistakes. Unfortunately, Liv wasn't as experienced and even got concussed (while Ruby was never injured by them), which again shows her skill.

Lana, unlike Eva, improved a lot despite not coming from a wrestling background. And getting put through that many table by nia without being injured also says something.
