explain rep points

This is going to sound stupid but how do you give and get rep points? Is it by viewing the link that some one posts? So if I view someone's posted link they get points?

That's how you give rep points to someone, positive or negative. Leave some feedback if you do so that the recipient knows what you're referring to. Giving rep points is a means to acknowledge somebody else's work, so you can't actually do anything to get them apart from posting useful/helpful/funny/... stuff. You can check your points balance by clicking on your "profile" tab in the upper lefthand corner. There's also a more extensive thread on that topic somewhere on the board.

nedbuck, use the search button here and type in keywords "rep point" and you will learn everything you ever wanted to know about rep points, how they're used, and how people either like or hate them. lol :hatsoff:
