Here's a thought to ponder... while the freedom to worship as one sees fit is certainly a right in the US bourn out of the violence in Europe at the time, this project is certainly divisive and shows a lack of the "sensitivity" that the poeple supporting it are always holding up as important. Rights aren't applicable only where popular. What's the purpose of having a constitution which protects rights if it isn't supported where a circumstance is least popular?

Ownership of firearms is divisive should the right be curtailed only on that basis?

One reason why the're building it there could be because it will also house a memorial to 9/11...at least they're the only ones finally memorializing the event somewhere in the vicinity.
