Shelley Lubben makes a controversial and flawed list here. Just taking into account the many tragic suicides, AIDS deaths and drug overdoses.

But not taking into account natural deaths, and accidents.

Genuinely interesting thread, but at the same time it illustrates the almost ""throw away" mentality of the porn industry.

I counted 6 people whose deaths could be attributed to natural causes, the rest it was either overdose or death by self inflicted bullet wound.

Makes you wonder what the rest of the OCSM's feel when they read something like that, I'm sure a lot would say "That would never happen to me" but then again I'm sure most of the people in article said the same thing.

I can totally understand why this is. The pressure that girls in the business are under is huge!! And I'm not just talking about 'porn stars' but solo models as well. Until you've actually experienced what it's like you will have no idea. This is why so many girls just can't hack it and leave before they really begin their careers.
