Ever met a celeb' that turned out to be a prick? Someone you met that was cool?

All right, I am fairly confident we had a thread like this going some time back, but this board has been slow lately so we need some new blood.

Any actors, actresses, athletes, or otherwise famous people that turned out to be royal penises? Maybe someone you met that turned out to be down-to-earth individuals? I've met quite a few that were pricks, and then some that were pretty cool.

Pricks:

Beck
Christ Chelios
Steve Yzerman
Jack Johnson (the singer, not the hockey player)
Randy Moss

Cool peoples:

Arnold Palmer
Jeremy Roenick (cool as hell!)
Matt Johnson (enforcer for MN Wild)
Chauncey Billups
Dave Mathews
Prince

Many more - some who were in a "grey" area - but I will let you opine.

Here Zombie, Zombie, Zombie...
I've met a lot of nice celebs,

Met Rodney Dangerfield while in Las Vegas, with his wife, guy was exceptionally cool and easy to talk to, ended up walking down the strip with him.

John Candy invited me to have lunch with him, guy was hilarious. Truly a sad day with they passed on.

Dan Ackroyd was also fantastic.

William Shatner was a extreme-total dick to the tenth power when I met him.

Julia Roberts - total bitch but hot in person
David Faustino - Fucking cool as a muthafucka!

I "met" Jewel at a record store in NYC (Virgin Mega Store) back around 2003. My girlfriend was with me and Jewel was in line behind us brooding and looking pissy. After about two minutes she let out this frustrated sigh, left the line and walked up to the cashier bypassing about four people.

The guy in front of us said something like, "Wait your turn, girl" and Jewel just shot him a dirty look and flipped her hair at him.

I was never a fan, but that shit turned me off big time.

I did meet Charlie Rose in a Genovese in Long Island...(99-2000-ish) and he was a hell of a nice guy. I recognized him and told him I liked his work. He seemed shocked since I was about 19-20, but shook my hand and came off sincerely pleasant.

Yeah. Charlie Sheen. He invited me to a little get together at this hotel and talked about some hotties. I couldn't make it, he got pissed off, and next thing I know I came to realize it was best I did not make it.

Nice: Forrest Whitaker, Doug Flutie, Rodney Harrison and more.
Not so nice: Never really had any bad experiences.

Met chuck liddell in vegas, during the time of the 2009 avn actually. He was super cool. My friend was taking a piss when he noticed him. even feeling like a homo he asked for a picture. twas chuck that noticed he was holding his phone the wrong way lol He was then kind enough to follow my buddy over to me so I could meet him also.
met bruce springsteen at a holiday charity concert and he was great also. I was with my dad who is a crazy fan who I think would go homo for bruce if asked.
I "met" bon jovi twice while working at pizza hut. The first time he was all "bon jovi'd" out, obviously in rock star mode. He was still super awesome! signed autographs for everyone in the store. Even chuckled when we played his music the entire time he was there. Second time he was with his kid on a sunday afternoon. Very very reserved, but still kind enough to sign an autograph for the lone dick that had the balls to ask. Both times he left a $20 tip. I wasn't there, but another manager at the pizza hut i worked at said kevin smith came in and was awesome.

I can't say I met her, but a negative experience was with famke jansen in nyc. She was walking and not paying attention while I was. I moved to avoid her right when she turned around and she I guess got startled and moved the same way so we ran into eacher. I said sorry, not actually realizing who it was at first. figured it would be no big deal since it happens on nyc streets. No, i got a death look and a "can you watch where you are going". wasn't till about 15 steps up the street i realized who it was.

Most of the old ball players I met were pretty cool. Alan Trammell, Pete Rose, Mickey Lolich, Sparky Anderson...met Tara Reid in Vegas. She was nice but I think she was stoned. Believe it or not I met George Wendt. He was a dick. Alex Lifeson and Neal Peart of RUSH were okay. I've met a lot of Playmates and for the most part they were all nice.

Sat next to Gene Simmons on a red eye flight 6 years ago, and he was probably the coolest person I've come across. Abe Laboriel Jr. (drummer for Paul McCartney and Sting among others) was an amazingly nice guy, met him at a Guitar Center event two years ago. Met Weird Al when I was in college, also a really cool guy.

Luckily, I haven't really come across any dickhead celebrities yet.

Sad to have to say it, but Nick Carter was a royal douche to me. I'm wiping away the tears as I type this. *sigh*

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
I met Terrel Owens once, and as much as I hate to admit it, he was a great guy. Very engaging and personable, and he talked to me like we'd been friends for years.

I also met Hélio Castroneves at the Indianapolis airport. He is as enthusiastic and hyper in real life as he is during his interviews at the track and on television. But he is without a doubt one of the friendliest guys you'll ever meet as well.

AFK..being taken to the vet to get neutered.
Mick Jagger - didn't act a prick, but he had it out at the time. Best piss break ever.
Kate Moss - fun, with a capital 'F'
Stephen Fry - excellent pool partner, tres cool

Pricks ..... can't really say. I guess everyone's entitled to a bad day. I found the Queen of England to be a little reserved. Does that count?

Rich Hall and Phil Jupitus both seemed like pretty cool, down to earth friendly guys. Michael Owen wasn't so cool, but then saying that i had tripped him up so that was probably why.

Bad experiences, not one that i've had, but one of my friends said they met Nikki Benz. Very ignorant, selfish, and very rude. Apparently when he asked her for a photo, her reply was " I don't want to have a photo taken with the likes of you ".

Cool: George Clooney in an NYC freight elevator, had his "people" hold the door so I can get on!:hatsoff:
Teri Weigel, though it cost me $40 for a Polaroid and a pair of dirty drawers, was very personable!
Kelly Ripa at the WABC building in NYC in a hallway, very cool and beautiful though I was taken aback by how skinny she was!
Mike Strahan under Giants Stadium (old) very cool and stayed and talked football w/ me and my crew for 15 mins.

.....And my 2 favorite people in the world, The lovely Ashley Dupre outside the old Howard Stern show in NYC, so fucking beautiful and down to earth and smelled like an angel! I held the door for her and her bodyguard going into a Subway on 56th street and she actually asked me what my favorite sub was (hers was Tuna) and I asked her if she still lived in NJ like me and she answered "yes", ordered food w/ her bodyguard and gave me a "peeeace out" with a 2 fingered wave goodbye!! :iloveyou:

My hero, Noel Gallagher at a screening of "Lord Don't Slow Me Down" (their concert movie) smoking a cig outside on 23rd st.......THE nicest guy I ever met that I was actually in awe of.....talked with fans, answered EVERY question and signed EVERY stupid thing he had to for like, a 1/2 hour-45 mins OUTSIDE on a city street!!

Not so cool?
Vincent D'onofrio form Law and Order!
Seen him on a set sitting in a directors chair listening to his Ipod. He had like 15 people around him asking to take pictures and sign shit and he just sorta sat there reading his script and staring off into space....now theres a guy who lived his crackpot part!
