LOS ANGELES - First she was secretly videotaped in the nude. Now she’s receiving death threats. At least a dozen e-mails had been sent to a media outlet threatening ESPN reporter and “Dancing With the Stars” contestant Erin Andrews since September, her attorney Marshall Grossman said.

The messages discuss the case of Michael David Barrett, who was sentenced last month to 2½ years in federal prison for secretly shooting nude videos of Andrews, her attorney Marshall Grossman said.

I've barely heard of her. What makes her so special that people want nudes of her or want to kill her? But 2 1/2 years for taking nude pictures? They recently convicted a guy of vehicular manslaughter (I believe) for killing someone while drunk driving near my area. I don't think he got that long.

Stalked yes, photographed naked, yes. Death threats? Not necessarily. That's a little over the top considering she hasn't even done anything to piss anyone off.

Why can't they just leave her alone? So we get one female sideline reporter that the guys actually won't complain about (well, there is that redhead milf who does NBA games...) and some guy is stalking her and now trying to kill her.

Perhaps I missed the memo, when did she become a celebrity/star? She's a reporter for a sports network, not a celebrity. Hell, she only works once or twice a week for them anyway.
