English Premier League 2009/2010

Sounds a lot like what Serie A used to be like, when it was thriving :)

I guess the batton has been passed on now ;)

Go Wolverhampton and Portsmouth!!! Those are only English teams i love.

Newcastle United will be missed. lol

I think this season will be this decade's dullest season. La Liga and Serie A will be the rating breakers of "telly". ;)

You've picked some hot-teams there.....

You're right about Newcastle though... I'll certainly miss watching 'Pool thrashing them home and away :crying:

I don't know, dude.

I can never be a fan of big English clubs. I have real fandom for those two. Every football fan in Turkland are also fans of those big teams and i wanted to be different. :D

Does Wenger need to sign anyone at the moment? He has $30mil in the bank thanks to ManCity, but the Bordeaux player he seemingly wants doesn't exactly light a fire in the heart of this goon.

I think I'd wait to see if Little Mozart Rosicky can still play before I buy anyone, or, maybe with the loss of Kolo Toure, go out and get his brother Yaya?

I'm very surprised that Wenger hasn't signed anyone.
I think The 'Arse will do badly this year... again

I think Manure slides back to 4th. Chelski and Liverpool battle it out for the top and Arsenal finish 3rd....

I really think (and not because I hate them) but the spuds are in dire straits and are a relegation threat! Seriously!

Bah, I don't care... I still think it's better than La Liga and Serie A.

The only thing I agree is that this season could be weak... I think Chelsea is going to win it.

Well well well...another season is about to begin and it's time for Tomas Rosicky to get injured again.....Sigh....this is getting really, really annoying.

I think sometimes a constantly injured player is a curse for a team, and the only way to break the curse is to send him on his way to another team for a "fresh start." I like Rosicky and feel bad that he can't shake the injury bug, but I think the time has come to let him go to another club. It seems like he will never be fit again for the Gunners....

The Premiship officially started this weekend. Been away over the weekend so only managed to catch a tiny bit of the action on Sunday (missed all of Saturday) but an interesting opening week end. The only 'consolation' to my beloved 'pool losing, was to see the toffees caned in their own back-yard. HAHAHAHAHAHA:D

I'm still baffled at that result - I really thought Everton would be tougher...
Was it just the troubled mind of Joleon Lescott that led to this rout?

:dunno:

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
has there been any news out of Everton about recent American signee Cody Arnoux? he is from near me and I saw him play in high school.

Sounds like a good title for a film - a supernatural thriller perhaps.
Don Cheadle could play Jolean Lescott and Eric Stoltz could be David Moyes

Yeah that was a result and a half thrashed on their own ground. I feel it may be one of those never ending uphill struggles for Everton this season (relegation battle all season perhaps?). Well I am not overly optomistic about my beloved Blues (I dont think they have bought in enough quality players yet). Oh well heres hoping.

Chelsea won 3-1 away to Sunderland after going a goal down and
Wolves got their 1st win of the seaon away to Wigan 0-1.

Best win came for Arsenal as they beat Celtic 2-0 :nanner:

Great results for all 3, Wolves in particular expected Wigan to beat them easily there. The Arsenal were a tad lucky with both goals I think (both gifts from Celtic).
