English Premier League 2009/2010

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
if the Spurs could defend against set pieces, they would be more of a threat. Crouch coming off the bench is a nice option. I haven't heard how bad Gomes is hurt. Hope he isn't out long. Not that he is amazing, but he is good enough

Go Burnley! (or whichever team happens to be playing utd) :hatsoff:

I think Arsenal will make it, even I I don't like Wenger.
Last year, from the moment they hire Arshavin, they did real good. This year, Arshavin will make a full season for Arsenal.

Chelsea will be 2nd, Man U. 3rd and Liverpool 5th

And I don't think they will be a Big 5 with City messing with the Big 4. I don't think City will make it. trust more on teams such as Tottenhaam, Aston Villa or Everton than on City.

Man U will not do it. They sold Cristiano and they hire Antonio Lopez. I think the guys does not fit the job...
They sold Tevez to hire Owen. Tevez is a great striker, Owen now only does shit !

Is somewhere outhere.
I think it's early days to call how's going to win it.But Man U did struggle
a bit last night.I think they will need to make a couple of signings before
the end of the transfer window.

Well he used to play for Rangers as you read, and he was a
very solid defender. But whether he can keep up with the
speed of the Premier League will remain to be seen :)

I know who he is he was OK couple of years ago, dont know if he is what The Pool should be going after but I suppose if Benis only got £2M to spend then he may well have to go after this sort of calibre of player.

Well I am glad the blues notched up their first win in the Prem, may well be the the only 3 points we pick up for a while.

That Birmingham takeover from Hong Kong is back to haunt us again:

Hong Kong-based businessman Carson Yeung has made a £1-a-share cash offer for Birmingham City FC, which values the club at £81.51m ($134.6m).

Doesn't seem like very good business, to let Hyppia go for nothing, then pay 2M for another player.:dunno:

Are there any Man U fans (or Burnley fans around here!?!?!) My gawd we should really be giving the Mancs some SHIIIIIIIIIT over that loss. That was one HELL of a strike by that Burnley player....

Ferdinand is out for a month. Man U is having goal-scoring problems...I wonder if Sir Alex hits the panic button and buys up a couple of players sooner rather than later. I had *heard* that they were going to use most of their transfer money to pay down debt and they couldn't just buy new stars this year....

we'll see what happens!

Tomas Vermaelen = GENIUS BUY
What a stud that guy is.......wow! Kolo who?

Nikkala made me do it!
Awful nice of MU to finally show up this week!

The Showdown at Old Trafford next week. Can NOT WAIT for that match.....should be awesome.

The Goons demolished Pompey today. Only worry is if Cesc pulled a hammy or not. I can't imagine Portsmouth not being in the Premiership, but unless they get their shit together--they might be this season's Derby????:thefinger:

^Won't Chelski bog that decision down in Appeals? That is a SEVERE sanction.

On the hand, I can't figure out why Le Professeur Wenger is bothering to appeal Eduardo's ban. Just give it a rest Boss, he's guilty, it's only 2 games, we don't need him for those games....let's put it to rest!
