All in all they aren't good for you but they make sugar free ones now and they are less bad for you then the ones with 60g of sugar in them. Still caffeine as a whole is not good for you. Then again neither is body building..
trust me bro..its not the sugar or the caffeine trust me i have eat sugar and drink coffee and est 10 gallon of water for withdrawals that is NOT the ingredient thats causing the problems

News flash...

Anything that comes out of a box, can, carton, or wrapper is more than likely determental to your health. Too much salt, additives that the human body was never meant to consume, sugar, more additives, not enough fat, too much fat...

Stick to eating real food and drink usually can't go too wrong unless you're like Anders and have wierd ass food allergies.

Isn't he even allergic to air?

I used to be addicted to Monster. I got to a point where my body had to have at least one a day to function normally. If iO didn't have it I would get jittery (a different kind of jittery than when I drank one), I would get anxious, my body would start sweating profusely for no reason, and I would get cranky. I started weaning off them when I realized that those things were happening when I didn't drink one, and I wouldn't feel that way if I did drink one. It took me a few months, but eventually I was able to leave them altogether.

The reason why I started drinking them, and a problem that I had when I stopped, was that I often needed something to keep me awake on my drive home from work after an 18-hour day. I quite far from any of the places where I work, about 53 miles on average, with San Jose being 75 miles away. As I said earlier, I need something to keep me awake on the drive home, especially after a really long day, or when I get off work in the middle of the night. As an alternative to Monster, I've started drinking a water-soluble powder that they sell at Costco, Zip Fizz, along with an Argentine herb-based supplement, Bedoyecta, and sunflower seeds. I find that the combination of those keeps me awake long enough to drive home safely, it doesn't give me jitters, it's not habit-forming, and it doesn't keep me awake 3 hours after getting home.

I remember one time I used to go through about three or four cans of Coca-Cola a day. Just for the sake of drinking it and not drinking anything else. I ended up with an abcess on my back through the bodies reaction to too much sugar in my system. I had to get antibiotics from the local GP and a nurse at the GP surgery kept an eye on it for a couple of weeks till it started to get smaller and more or less go away. I also had a lot of dizzy spells as well, even when I was sitting down not just standing up. It would be annoying as I would be sitting there and then the room would feel as if it was going to spin.

And one time I almost completely lost my balance while walking. It just came on me all of a sudden. I couldn't walk straight or anything. All because of too much sugar in my system. I stopped using normal coke and went onto diet sodas and I've never looked back. The dizzy spells have stopped completely. Some fools say diet soda has more sugar than regular soda through all the sweeteners they have, I've heard suckers say such things. Regular soda has way more than diet will ever have. When I moved to diet soda and diet diluted drinks no dizzy spells or anything appeared. It was all gone. Unlike with sugary drinks.

Sugary drinks... BAD. Diet drinks... GOOD.

I drink 2 monster drinks a few times a week. Sometimes more or less often depending. I LOVE it! I drink em because I like the flavor, red bull also is delicious but to fuckin expensive. I have no issues.

Red Bull is a con so it is.

There are drinks I can buy called "Boost" and also "Red Rooster" and I forget the other one but the one I forget the name of can be bought in the Iceland frozen foodstore near where I live. ALL of which taste just the same as Red Bull and are cheaper to buy. A 1 Litre bottle of Boost from my "Pound Store" near me costs £1. But a scabby little can of Red Bull costs more than £1 and it's not even half of the amount of that bottle of Boost. Red Bull aint the only drink on the market like that and it's a good thing too cos RB is not worth the price they are asking for it. The one that you can buy in Iceland that I forget the name of... it might be called Red Energy... don't quote me on that though, not untill I check next time I am in Iceland which will be next wednesday.

I read or heard somewhere not sure which lol cos it was a while back. But it was said that too many energy drinks are supposed to cause the blood cells to get all sticky and clog up your arteries to your heart.

True or false? I don't know. I but I drink them in moderate amounts I don't go overboard.

I heard or read somewhere, not sure where, that you become impotent from being a member of the FO board as well. And we're all still here jerking off on all the OCSM's, aren't we?

Red Bull may be a con, but they have a hell of a F1 Team with a world champion driver that gives 'redbull has wings' a new meaning. ;-)

Studies are starting to come out that diet drinks aren't all that great for you either. I drink diet coke, mostly because I was raised on the stuff and don't like the texture of the full sugar stuff, but I've also cut waaay down. Especially since they're starting to find the artificial sweeteners actually increase hunger.

i drink 3 rockstar a day. aswell as an excessive amount of coffee each say for the last year and have never had a problem :$

sorry dude, but duhu :hammer: of course it causes problems, it has like loads of sugar in it.
