As a hippy I don't work much, so a few years ago there was a "thing" that happened and I decided I should make a few bucks and help people. As I worked on said project I found myself needing a "pick me up" so I bought a bunch of an energy drinks (let's say it was similar to "blue cow"). I went ahead and got enough for me and others in the office, as writing my name on the drinks wasn't enough to ensure I had as many as I bought after placing them in the office 'fridge. I found myself initially more alert and quicker with certain duties than before but had "stomache" problems that subsided as soon as I quite drinking them. I consumed about eight a day for a few weeks (give or take like...five). As I was the guy that was responsible for alot of work, I couldn't just leave or take a day off because people depended on me, so I quit drinking the "blue cows." After a day or so I was feeling much better and left it a that.
I really feel it is a physiology thing because I over indulged, like EXTREMELY over-indulged and after that I quit energy drinks and am now back to what I consider "normal."
That's my story and I don't drink them anymore. I've found that water is is the best sh!t in the world and now I have to worry about that.
I drink water like it's going out of style and recently learned thatI have to watch that also as it can lead to hyponatremia. Which I'm pretty sure I've come close too, as I drink a sh!t load of water daily now.
One thing I can say positive about drinking alot of water, I've got great skin... haven't had a zit in years.
