I don't like any of those places especially Papa Johns, papa Johns is the absolute worst in my book.

I'd say Dominno :lovecoupl is the best!!

Whoa! My mistake. This is the wrong Dominno ;) :) ;)

No comment on the pizza. :elaugh:

I was always a fan of Pizzeria Uno back in the day. Now I live overseas and the best I can get is Costco pizza. Yes, pity me. :(

I think my Costco makes good pizza locally it might be bad if they shipped across the pond
I do not understand why papas is bad unless it is the grease or someone poured the garlic butter sauce on and it was to moist with grease
I hate the buttery jack burger for that reason

Chain pizza. Ugh. Domino's I'd put up there with Red Baron and those other frozen supermarket shits. I don't know what their crust is made from and it always tastes gummy. It's a cheap pie and the quality reflects. The first time I tried Papa John's it was really good. A decade later I tried it and it was totally different. That sauce was disgusting. The Hut is a decent pie. The problem I have with them is the place is always filthy and I have been in more than a handful of them. Dirty tables, shit all over the floor. If that's how they keep the front, I'm afraid of what goes on in the back. I don't think anyone over 19 works there. Never had Little Caesar's but one day I'll try just to say I did.

Don't look at me as being a pizza snob. I am blessed to live where local pizza is everywhere. They all make their own dough, meatballs, and sauces. They turn out so many pies and sandwiches every week so frozen and canned shit would actually cost them more to make their pies. However, I do sympathize with you. BBQ is scarce here. Way over priced and just not that good. Tex-Mex is also rare. Hit or miss and you will have to pay up to try. Local taco places don't exist.

Some one did not like ceasars--the mgr of shakeys

a few times I ordered the thick square pizza and crust was flakey like a crouisant and was fantastic

5 dollars pizza-worth a try only 5 dollars

30 yrs ago the hut gave my pizza to a guy who said it was not his it was mine as it had peppeoni- they knew of the mistake and keep it on hot for 20 min.
I was watching the mistake and his hand digging at my pizza- they then tried pawning it off on me after he dug his nasty hands in my pizza with his fuckin beard ass face- hippie

Is somewhere outhere.
When I was in the States as a kid (30 years ago) it was always Pizza Hut. I wasn't all that struck on Domino's or Papa Johns, although I think the latter was horrendous. I guess that's why the NY Rangers give away their free pizza every time they score :D There was another lot I used to get pizza from - a company called Sbarro's. I don't know if they are still going these days, or even if they haven't been mentioned here,I guess they must be pretty crap. But back then they used to do good pepperoni, spaghetti, and the calzones as far as I can remember.

A $5 pie is like getting a $2 sammich. Go get a can of chunky soup and a bag of chips instead.

I've been away for a while and am curious about something. Dino, did you ever get your kitchen renovated?

Sbarro's was some good ass pizza but I think the company folded. Or they downsized because the one in my town closed. I liked it because you could order a whole pie or by the slice. YUM!!!

I have never seen a freestanding Sbarro's. Malls, train stations, rest areas along the turnpike and the like. $4 for a slice? No thank you. I don't need pizza that bad. None of their other stuff would stand up around here either. Am I beginning to sound like a pizza snob? Awe, fuck it. I've been called worse.

Ya, I have never seen an actual restaurant either, just small little outlets in malls. I used to stop there occasionally on my lunch breaks and was more than willing to pay $4 a slice. The slices are so big they are like 1/4 of a pizza. I'd only need 1 slice and I'm a big man. 6'3" 250lbs. One slice and a med drink for $5 ain't bad

Talking of pizza I have a question. Chicken on a pizza, is it right? I for one think it is a crime against humanity.

Anything you want. put it on. It's your pizza. Chicken is okay but I don't want buffalo chicken. Some people put pineapple. ziti, and alfalfa sprouts on theirs. Not for me but whatever floats your boat.

There was a Villa Pizza in the mall when I was a kid. A bunch of Mexicans pretending to be Italian ran it, wasn't too bad, but it was $5 a slice and that was twenty five years ago, fuck that shit. Papa John's had a chicken bacon ranch pizza that was pretty damn good, sacrilege or not.

From what I remember there pizza seemed too greasy.
You want grease? Try having a pie in it's origin----Italy, worst pizza's I ever had. That fucker was swimming in grease. I'd much rather have an American pie(preferably in Chicago). Now on the other hand while on Liberty in Norway I had the best seafood pizza. I know it sounds gross but fucking delicious. Best pie I ever had

They probably drowned the fucking thing in olive oil, Italians put that shit on everything.
