Domino's Is Better Than Pizza Hut Gosh Darnit!

Just had Pizza Hut for the first time in ages. I got a large Meat Lovers with the stuffed cheese crust. I liked the meat toppings but that stuffed cheese crust gets real boring tasting after the first slice. The Domino's I've gotten several times lately has been much better. The crust was good without having to be dolled-up stuffed with cheese. Go Domino's!

Papa John's is the best chain pizza. I like Pizza Hut's Thin and Crispy Super Supreme. Unless Domino's has improved a ton, I am not impressed unless I am starving. McDonald's is only good if I am starving too.

I haven't had Domino's in a long time. There used to be one around here, but it closed a long time ago. From what I remember there pizza seemed too greasy. It's hard to tell if that's was always an issue with them or if it was just the local one.

The best chain pizza in California is Shakey's I wish they had them here
My Aunt lives in Santa Ana and I think she took us to a Shakey's in Tustin or maybe it was Huntington Beach. It was really good.

Shakey's has good pizza, fried chicken, and mojo potatoes.

You mentioned Papa John's. I've never had it but I think I will give it a try. My favorite pizza place is a place called Lamonica's which is located in Westwood Village on Gayley Ave.

I think Domino's made a bad decision when they began to try and emulate Pizza Hut. They have too many things that aren't pizza on their menu and that's not good for focus.

For the EMPEROR!!
I went off Domino's because of their tomato paste/topping tastes like shit to me.
Haven't had Pizza Hut in a long time.

Major Crimes? Shiiiit.
I've never actually had Domino's but from what I have heard it sucks I have not had Pizza Hut in over 10 years although it was at least edible back then. But it's pretty much the same thing with all of these large chains the quality just keeps dropping. If I'm gonna eat a pizza I'll get one that's wood fired from an actual Italian pizza place that's less than a 10 minute drive for me.

I have one close by
shakeys has a thin crust that is crispy brown on underside
I used to think of it as cheap pizza from the buffet- half is one topping
but the crust is unique and they do make 2 and 3 topping at the buffett pig line
20 years ago I found a penny in my potato salad.

I always slices of avocado would be a good topping

dinos pizza is good in my community- pizza and meat sauce is very good

Papa John's recently added pan pizza to their lineup, I'm looking forward to trying it at some point in the future. Franchise pizza is the only locally available option, wish there was a more authentic alternative.

Domino's changed their formula/ingredients a few years ago and their pizza really improved. The crust used to taste like cardboard but has much better flavor now. If you haven't tried it in a long time give it another shot. It may not be the quality of the finest pizza parlors but, if cost is a factor, they have a great large with 3 toppings carry-out deal for $7.99 which is now offered 7 days per week.

For chains, I like Little Caesar's. Domino's depends on the location... The first couple of times I tried it (decades ago; thirty minutes or less), the pizza was undercooked. I'll do Pizza Hut, IF I have a coupon.

Overall, I prefer local pizza joints, wood-fired especially.

When you Californians make it down to San Diego, try Woodcarver Pizza. A little pricier but damn good. My dad used to have to go to San Diego when he was in the Marine Corps and he turned us onto it the couple of times we traveled to SD.

Normally when I want to throw up I'll imagine[NOBABE] Lena Dunham[/NOBABE] in any situation and I'll be hurtling acid chowder instantly. But Domino's and Pizza Hut will do in a pinch.

Rosatti's deep dish, Napoli, or Sammy's Wood Fired here in Vegas are vastly superior in every way. Even California Pizza Kitchen is preferable.

guidos is very god crust--papa johns has the Garlic Butter Liquid to dip in and its fantastic
