Do you play any MMORPG?

I've been playing Dark Age of Camelot many years, then I tried World of Warcraft but I didn't like it... I was wondering if u guys like DAoC cause we could play together a bit :)

Let me know if you need any info

I played Guild Wars too, but I don't have enough time to play in a professional way :( I think that GW is the perfect game for group Vs group fights

i played FFXI for a long time, started 3 characters and i always got bored with it around lvl 30. thats the only mmorpg ive ever played tho, ive heard alot of good things about guild wars

Rattrap

Doesn't feed trolls and would appreciate it if you
I'd play MMORPGs if they didn't cost money. And, well, if I had time for them...

I tried playing that free internet one, 'RuneScape' for a while, but it didn't hold my attention. It seemed pretty pointless to me, but I might feel that way even about the ones you pay for.

Still...if they didn't cost extra money, I'd probably play more of them.

guild wars is free, but ive also heard alot of good things about dungeon seige 2, but thats more like a diablo-type game.

Anyone play Lineage2?

I played World Of Warcraft for about three months, but it eventually became tedious, and to be honest, I became very annoyed with that particular community of players.

I've been playing good old Diablo II again lately, and I was thinking about checking out Guild Wars. Is Guild Wars any good?

I've heard a lot of good things about it, got a bunch of friends trying to get me to play it right now, so I'm probably going to have to check it out. Does have PK though for people who hate that.

I was into Guild Wars until I hit Lvl 20 and that was it. Sure you can learn more skills, but if you can't continue to make your character any stronger other than armor, its lame.

So, what's the level cap? It sounds a bit like Diablo in that your character is very gear dependant. Sure, skills help, but if you're not fully decked out in awesome gear, you have no chance of beating the game at higher difficulty levels.

Lvl 20 is it, you can earn a few more skill points after that, but the only further way to get your character higher is to get the elite skills or the best armor. Maybe I'm just too much of a loner, but the game just wasn't for me, and especially after I peaked my character it just didn't seem worth it to keep trying. Also the story isn't that great, quite confusing at times.

I used to play a few of them. Nexus, Kingdom of the Winds. Ragnorak Online. Maple Story. World of Warcraft and a little Guild Wars. None at the moment.

If anyone wants to come to diabolos on ffxi, send me a PM and i'll get u in. I have 1 really high character and two around 34.

Yeah ive been playing mmos for a long time right now i play GW and WoW on Kelthuzad server but yeah i know what you mean about the the comunity of WoW.

I played World of Warcraft for a while on the free trial. I liked it but not enough to pay a monthly fee for the privilige

This topic is about as old as my virginity. Give about 4 years.

But, eh.. I like the single player stuff and most MMO's always want you banding together to beat some bullshit quest that takes you 2 hours to complete, and 2 hours just to round up a DECENT PARTY!

So yeah, that's bullshit.

Well if you are going to play one of these types of games you want to avoid World of warcrafts it full of kids and Twats or are they the same things well that dose not matter you get the point. if you want a decent one play something with out the kids on, like Age of Conan which is very good (i don't normaly play these games) and has vitural no kids on at all. or for my fav and it's a hard one with a very steep learning curve which keeps kid off is EVE online. but be warned EVE online is a soul stealer you will play it longer than intended and before you know days have gone by.
