I have paid for porn in the past and am considering doing so again. Mostly solo sites, but I have paid for some of the bigger ones too. I did webcams for a bit a few years ago. But there is so much quality free stuff that it can seem a bit pointless.



I like the idea of a porn live tour. The really big names performing live at stadiums and arenas around the world, while up and coming acts doing smaller gigs for the indie crowd.

I am a solo model, run my own business out of my home and only charge $9.95/mo. But I have to say, there is so much out there...why should you have to pay for it? I totally agree with you. With FreeOnes alone, you could look at porn all day without seeing the same thing twice. Not to mention all the TGP's that have thousands of models.

Your point is very valid, but unfortunately it makes it tough for us solo models , even in a niche market, to make a buck just for the fun we have doing our best stuff for everyone to see :crash:

Sure, there's some great sites that offer links to tons of great photos for free. And there's also sites that offer a sizable weekly selection of their own photos for free.

But, that all takes time. You could spend hours dealing with that, pop-ups, etc.

I just join a site for a single month every now and then and download a whole bunch depending on what the limit is.

Why spend all that time finding the photos when you can download a whole mass of them which can be ready at an instant?

There are still more reasons to go with pay.

When joining I use a generated cc# with limited value usually what the specific amount is. They can't get my real number and they can't continue to charge past the limit placed on the generated number as it would be declined.

I pay for sites, yes. I've got three that I am currently subscribing to, and have probably subscribed to literally a couple hundred in the last 10 or so years. Some I remain rather faithful to, some I occasionally resubscribe to after a few months/years, and others end up being one-shot deals.
But I've never regretted it.

The trial membership was impossible to cancel, and I had to kill my credit card to prevent the recurring payment. Since then I've never put a single dollar on porn.

I used to...and for my naivety, got ripped off by one solo site for approx 292 USD, which led to me getting my credit card changed.

Another site continued e-mailing me that I had subscribed to new sites, even after I stopped subscribing - result? Getting my credit card changed again. Thanks for nothing, cs@jettcs.com.

Then there are the nuisance SPAM emails from supposedly reputable sites, continually asking you to rejoin (waste of time, since I've now set up the junk email filer).

I understand the argument that nothing is free, and I sympathise for those pornstars who feel aggrieved that their hard work is being ripped off..

However I also understand the concept Caveat Emptor ("Let the buyer beware")....these days, if I really want it, I look for the DVD.

in all fairness I could care less what you do. I'm not gonna pay some woman to shake her ass or get fucked on camara wishing it were me. I'd rather pay a hooker, at least I know im gonna get laid. the same thing happened to us when we joined a site. there was no contact info and no way to cancel. we own a site and know how to get the info but i can imagine how frustrating it must be for the buyer.

this practice got so bad on some networks that Visa stopped allowing companies to do it because there were so many chargebacks.

As for buying porn, its not really needed with all the tube sites (askjolene, etc...). I feel for the people in the business as the industry changes, you cant really compete too easily with free. Plus with the internet anyone can have a go at it now days. So not only has content delivery changed but so has the increase in competition throughout the industry. Which to me each has factored in to the quality diminishing overall. And no doubt added increased pressure and decreased income for the performers.
