Do you make assumptions about members based on their 'Rep Power'?

Three lullabies in an ancient tongue
I make no correlation between rep points and anything of any significance. I see a good number of members here with low rep point totals for whom I have great admiration and respect. Conversely, I see others who have a shitload of rep whom I consider to be arrogant and misguided. Therefore, I draw no conclusions based on rep points.

As was stated earlier, however, if someone has a lot of red they're probably deserving of it and I would make some negative assumptions about them....until they got banned, of course.

Dont really notice the rep unless the bar is red.

Other than that I dont care if they have 2 rep points or 250 rep points.

Ahh...but what if they have 513 rep points? Or, 1,417 rep points? Or, 5,211 rep points? :dunno:

I let the person's posts do the talking for them. I form my opinions based on content. Some posters are more active with link/pic posting than I am. Some of those members don't come here often to post.

I do get a laugh at the posters who earn the longline of red squares.

Sometimes I rep friends just because I like them, but 99% of the rep I give is earned.

I've got my word cut out to keep ahead of you! ;) (System won't let me issue a thankyou rep Dawn. Must've repped you recently for something else).

I only judge members based on penis size.

It's pointless in my opinion. To my knowledge we don't even do trades like others forums do. No point to have it, but something to look at it.

It seems like more of a game.

I rarely make assumptions about members based on their rep power (except as mentioned if they are in the red), since there is so much rep cheating that goes on on this board.

However, I do take notice of members' rep power for my own personal reasons. Being on the board regularly, I have a fairly good idea of what members earn their rep and and which members cheat their way to higher totals. I enhance this insight by viewing the "Rep the member above me" thread every once in awhile to see who is cheating lately. I store the rep cheaters names in my memory banks and I make it a point NEVER to rep them to do my part to keep things fair. :hatsoff:

May seem a little excessive to do that, but it gives me a twisted feeling of accomplishment. People have gotten very greedy ever since rep points have been linked to MyFreeones Points.

^ Somebody's taking this shit too seriously...lol. ^

A lot of rep means that the person is either popular or a good member. Too many red squares often means that either the person is disruptive or a spammer or a troll.

If there are really threads out there to cheat, why don't the mods take them down, espcially in light of the link to points with an auction or vids to give out? If they did already then call me blonde, I didn't do the proper fact checking.

Banned?
^ Because no one really cares about rep points. And those that do probably don't last here long.
