Do you like to cook

knows petras secret: she farted.
B) You know who Michael Symon is, right? Well, I had the chance to staj with Chef Symon for a while at one of his restaurants in Cleveland, Lola, (he's cool as hell, BTW) and he was on Iron Chef America. You get told what you're going to be cooking about a week ahead of time. That way, you get plenty of time to plan out your menu, gather the ingredients you want to use, etc. I think it sucks, but...what do you expect from American TV?

yeah i know who he is and i cant stand him. surely though u were star struck, i mean, if i saw him in the street or at a restaurant id be like, hey its that fucking douchebag and point and im serious. hate him. and yeah hes a permanent member of the american version of IC now, which keeps me away from it even more. american tv sucks big balls for sure, and not in a good way.

When I got to staj with him it was before he was an Iron Chef. He was just a contestant on the show a few years back.

He's actually a really good chef and I was happy to work with him. I'm glad I got that opportunity.

My recipe makes "a lot", especially if you're just making them for two people, but...they're so good that you won't mind.

I don't always cook for two. I can cook for my mommy and twin sister. Hell, I owe dinners to my brother and one of my sisters.

Potato night. :D

I agree to the above mentioned Good Eats - one of the best food shows ever made. Alton does in fact tell people how to cook, not just what to cook.

Personally I love cooking. Especially complicated stuff originating from Italian or French cuisine.

I love to cook, although I don't do it as much as I used to...like doing up any kind of stir-fry...nice and easy!

I love to experimentally cook, can't say much for my general cooking ability, aside from my skills to grill an amazing +16 oz. medium/rare steak. I've yet to disappoint anyone. I'm not bad at cooking crab or various entrees either, and on my way to learning how to cook some mothafuckin' PAD THAI from an amazing chef... Yeah bitch!!! :D

Italian food is always a treat too... Still boosting my skills for their style, but gettin' good. Goddamn, cooking is fun!

Also...learning how to prepare fresh, delicate sushi. My favorite kind of dish in the world. Starting off with California rolls and goin' from there.

I have recently been duped to watch Create Channel in which most of what they do is cook...and I love it there's some guys name Ming and there's this Rick Bailes who's specialty is chicago style mexican food!!

Yes, I like to cook. One of my best girlfriends is Indonesian and she recently started to teach me how to cook Indonesian. She has a lot of secret family recipies wich she might share with me. She's also going to get me a real handmade wok from Indonesia the next time she's going to visit her family :)

I love to cook. I'm part Italian, so I'm pretty well-versed in Neapolitan cuisine. I make a mean tiramisu and a fantastic marinara sauce.
