Do you like to cook

Marlo Manson

Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
I absolutely hate to cook! I used to make myself grilled cheese but I don't anymore.

I just don't eat unless I can microwave it or make sandwiches with lunch meat, sometimes I'll eat p.b.j's and last but not least, every once in a while I will make myself some tuna melts!

I enjoy cooking espcially soups, meat that is braised (lamb and veal shanks) I make a killer Lousiana Gumbo and an oxtail stew.

I love to cook. It allows me to eat healthier foods. My specialties are Italian, REAL Chinese food and some Caribbean delicacies. Fellas learn to cook...well. The ladies love it.

Carribean food is very under-rated, IMO.

Also, Floribbean food is quite good as well.

Cooking is for fags.

And your'e a chef...why???? :1orglaugh

Seriously, all the best cooks are men. Just watch Iron Chef. You can't mess with those dudes. :nono:

Yes, I do like to cook. It's funny because my GF's dad does all the cooking at her house, I grew up with my dad cooking, and I am a decent cook as well. Go figure.

he's kidding i hope u know. and i also hope u mean the REAL iron chef! iron chef japan, not that horrible rehash american one. its nothing like the real one was. i saw a behind the scenes making of iron chef america, its total bullshit.

they have all these cuts and then they have an additional 45 mins to make everything over again. oh, did i mention they already know the challenger, who they are gonna pick, and the ingredient! wtf!

but if u are referring to the real iron chef, good for you. and yeah, thats some serious shit. chen kenichi is my favourite chef of all time.

Yeah, I was talking about the original. They play it nightly on FLN now. I like Sakai the best but they all kick some ass. And yeah, I watch Iron Chef America too. It's not nearly as good as the original, but it's still not bad.

So you're saying it's a bunch of bullshit, is that true? What show had behind the scenes on it?

Ha...Good Eats is one of my favorite shows. AB can straight cook. :hatsoff:

So you're saying that they already know in advance the secret ingredient? Do you know how much time for them to come up with the menu?

I guess. I could have swore Cat Cora was talking on some show about how it's authentic and everything - that they don't know the ingredient or anything, and that it's spur of the moment and all that. :dunno:

Feasting on Asphalt was very good. I've only seen one of the Feasting on Waves so far.

Simon won that Next Iron Chef America show/series. I wish that Mexican dude (Aron Sanchez, I think) would have won, he was the best. Flay isn't that bad; he beat Morimoto on the original Iron Chef a long time ago.

A) Good Eats is the best cooking show ever. Alton Brown, although not a chef, certainly knows his food. Plus, I'm a huge fan of the science behind the culinary arts. I have all his DVD's and they're great.

B) You know who Michael Symon is, right? Well, I had the chance to staj with Chef Symon for a while at one of his restaurants in Cleveland, Lola, (he's cool as hell, BTW) and he was on Iron Chef America. You get told what you're going to be cooking about a week ahead of time. That way, you get plenty of time to plan out your menu, gather the ingredients you want to use, etc. I think it sucks, but...what do you expect from American TV?

I adore cooking. Too bad my kitchen is smaller than a lot of closests. :(

I've been making pot roast since I was 10 or so.

I used to be able to make scalloped potatoes, but that recipe escaped from my mind and I haven't found a decent recipe since then.

I can also make ghetto casserole, lasagna, meatloaf, a simple Chinese soup and many other things.
