and who really cares about special effects in porn? I don't know if you realize this, but they make real movies and they spend like a 100 million on the special effects. I watch porn because I want to see people fucking. no more, no less.

As much as I like Jenna Haze, big budget story plot driven porno's never really do it for me, I mean a 15 minute scene is more than enough, to have to sit down and watch an entire porno does not sound that appealing to me.

Calpoon said it, who really cares about special effects and fantastic sets really? Is that what people look at when they watch porn? No.

I don't buy these type of movies because it will get me laid. I watch them because I enjoy the plot as well as the fucking. I can't sit there and watch a "normal" porno where there is no point as to why they are fucking. Give me a story, give me a reason for them fucking. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I'm a huge movie fan but when I'm watching movies like Pirates I don't even get off to them because I'm not watching them for that. If I want to get off, a 30 second clip at Freeones is more than enough.

I for one.. dont have the best imagination. Soo.. when there's an actual story to it that I can believe, it heightens the context of the erotica, IMO.

I apply that to my porn as well. Can I believe most of the situations in most movies? Hell no. The guys are ugly, the chicks have too much makeup on.. and no, the plumber doesnt get laid every trip he takes out to someone's house nor do most plumbers look-like, fuck, or speak like pornstars. Pirates was an excellent movie.. a bit cheesy, but the actors/actresses all looked attractive.. the set design helped the erotic aura of the scene, and dammit.. at the very least how often do porn chicks dress up in pirate costumes? lol
