I am not being sarcastic.
I think one would need to be more worried about the men these types of women would hang around with.
Their men are the type who would do something crazy, stupid and irrational over something as simple as being disrespected.
In my opinion these Latino gangsta girls are more bark than bite.
Since you are from Europe, I do not think these women are any more tough or dangerous than your average rowdy soccer fan (man or woman) who is passionate about their team.
In fact I think a rowdy soccer fan from Europe could easily handle them in a fight.
Lets us not forget how easily the Spanish, the French, the Dutch & the Portuguese conquered their indigenous ancestors hundreds of years ago.

Maybe these Latinos suffer from a sense of inferiority and that is why they have "I am so tough"-attitude.
The latino gang member types are definitely more dangerous and also have a track record of committing violent acts to prove it.
If you take away all of their guns they would just pull out knives or other weapons.
As far as the latino women lets take Mexico as an example.
In Mexico having a more European appearance is definitely the beauty standard for all Mexican women.
So in many cases the latino women with a more indigenous appearance will try to Europeanize their appearance (coloring their hair lighter etc...) to cover up their inferiority of looking indigenous.
It is possible some of the more indigenous looking Mexicans suffer from a sense of inferiority and that is why they have "I am so tough" attitude.
They have been instilled about their inferiority since birth by the Mexican media and the upper class elites in Mexico who are mostly of European descent.

Sorry, but that's utterly ridiculous. What happened centuries ago has absolutely nothing to do with the lethal nature of modern day ethnic street gangs. I can pick the winner of a fight very easily. Which one has a gun, is willing to die and is willing to kill? OK, there's your winner. Easy squeezy.
How many European soccer hooligans have a tear drop tattoo under their eyes? How many of them would even know what that means? How many deaths have taken place from soccer riots in Europe over the past say, 20 years? Maybe as many as there have been murders in Chicago or East L.A. last week? As for fighting, street gangstas (male and female) are more prone to use guns than their fists these days. Dreaming of the day when their guns can be taken away is a useless exercise. If a lion had no teeth or claws, I bet I could last 10 rounds with him. But that ain't how it works, is it? My guess is, if 20 European male soccer hooligans (singing team songs and dancing around drunk & silly) faced down 20 hardcore Latina gangstas, you'd likely end up with 20 European male soccer hooligans with bullet holes in them... in addition to some innocent bystanders in the crowd. I doubt that the average European (soccer hooligan or not) has ever fired, or even held a gun, outside of military service.
Are these girls genuinely dangerous? All one has to do is read the breakdown of the FBI violent crime stats to know that they are. These people are basically sociopaths once they've been fully indoctrinated into the gang lifestyle. Life and death means very little to them. They see and dole out death on a daily basis. They don't value their own lives, so they certainly don't value anyone else's. Street gangs (of all stripes) are the most serious driver of violent crime facing the United States at this time. And while most gangs are populated by males, violent crime committed by females is (or was) growing at a faster rate, according to the last crime stats report that I read. It would be a (truly) fatal mistake to dismiss these disenfranchised females, or think that they're all just cute lil wannabes (like that [NOBABE]Gigi Spice[/NOBABE] girl) posing with their boyfriends' pistols.

I don't think these gangsters girls are any use in the kitchen. They might need those guns to get any decent man to marry them by force to compensate the lack of basic and mandatory cooking skills for women.
Mexico and the rest of Latin America is where the Europeans (Spanish, French, Dutch, Portuguese) were victorious and the indigenous people lost.
So anything having to do with the indigenous culture is always viewed as being inferior.
That includes one's physical appearance as well.

I generally avoid Hollywood movies. But I do read crime stats and I have owned rental properties in sketchy neighborhoods over the past 30+ years. When I was collecting my own rents, even at 6'3" and 225 pounds, I carried a gun back then for a damn good reason: it doesn't matter how big you are or how tough you might look, God has never made a man who was bullet proof.
Who has been watching too many Hollywood movies now? No, anyone is not capable of beating anyone in a fight... certainly not if the first "anyone" is carrying a pistol and doesn't give a damn about living or dying. The second "anyone" is a dead man or woman. That's just how it goes. It plays out every day, in any number of places around the globe.
Gang members are not necessarily from the United States. Never said they were. I simply gave examples of two crime ridden, gang infested areas, which happen to be in the U.S. The same would be true of street gangs in Mexico City, Lima, Sao Paolo or Durban. A violent, sociopathic disposition, combined with a firearm, makes for a deadly human predator. If the CHAV types (for instance) start packing heat in large numbers, well, maybe these disgruntled soccer hooligans might become a real problem in Europe. But last I read, they don't represent the same violent crime problem there that gangs represent here - whether male or female.
I enjoy studying history too. But basing your beliefs, about how a present day throw-down would play out, on what one group did to another group several hundred years ago is illogical. While you may be able to make something of a socio-economic link (about poverty or disenfranchisement, etc.) from events in the past to the present day, what Cortez did or didn't do has no bearing on whether or not a Latina female gangsta would lay some soccer hooligan out in chalk. Anyone dumb enough, or just unfortunate enough, to bring only his fists or a broken bottle to a gunfight winds up dead. It's truly not that hard to figure out. I'm not taking a dump on Europeans or speaking about their manhood or toughness. But what is the murder rate in Europe vs. that in the Americas? What is the violent crime rate there vs. the U.S., Mexico or Central America???
