Vanilla Bear

Bears For Life
I'm not one of those do-gooders, but seriously, nature can be so beautiful and humans should stop ruin it so much when possible.

Snapped some photos last week of the place where my boat is usually tied up.

Its still a bit nippy there.

Yes, the pictures are taken with my phone camera and I´m a lousy photographer.

Kind of like this one though the picture itself is kind of shit since the tractor that made the tracks was driving there about 2 days before I took the photo. They used it to place the little tripod you can see on the left hand side which is used to raise the pole that's sunk down a bit too far.

Sitting here with the outside temp raging up to a high of 87 today, I find it difficult to process that anywhere in the populated world is that cold.
I do not consider Antarctica and the Artic as technically populated, similar to my refrigerator.

If I may add a pic I have to this fine thread!! :)

Wow.

When the movie Avatar came out I remember reading an article that some people were getting depressed that there was no place on earth as beautiful as Pandora. Sure, we don't have fake CGI created floating islands and 9 ft. tall blue-skinned natives (and with the first pick in the NBA draft, the Charlotte Bobcats select ....) but earth is still pretty fuckin' spectacular.
