I can't control what people do and neither can the government.

I do agree with the laws that restrict the building of adult businesses close to schools and so on. But, people will do what they want.

Just look at the "war" on drugs. That has worked out well.

If we take marijuana out of the "War on Drugs" than the "War" is still the right intention but merely the wrong approach.

The countries that have freer drug laws also have universal healthcare for its citizens.

But, legalizing some drugs would be a good idea.

If we decriminalize marijuana --we could be on the way to paying for universal healthcare for all American citizens, if we factor in all the money spent in "policing" and "prosecuting" it throughout the nation. If we overhaul immigration--than we can ensure that only American citizens receive "America's" universal healthcare.

What will happen when there's no more "rich" democrats e.g. hollywood, Hank Paulsen Investment Banker, Ellison (Oracle) and / or Warren Buffett types left to tax, then where does the grim, institutional government, poor excuse for hospitals get their $$$ ?
When there's no choice left, and rationing becomes mandatory, who are the "expendable" patients ? It's all very plausible, IMO.

The "science" is flawed. Its using a generalization of a "red" state and a "blue" state. If it was to be completely accurate it would have used census and voter registration information to get the complete picture.
