Odd, don't recall saying they were the ONLY ways of getting cancer? Just an example where one could draw the conclusion that getting the disease was a result of ones own actions.
But is there 'good' cancer & 'bad' cancer then? If its proven that, for example, you got it from smoking then tough, accept the consequences but if not well, "we're here to help!!" :dunno:

It doesn't matter how cancer is formed. It should have been cured a long time ago. With all the money cancer charities have taken in and all the cancer hospitals, there isn't a good enough reason for cancer to be so prevalent today.

Why not? If one method of protection (condoms) against undesired consequences (STDs) is a way to escape responsibility for your actions (having sex), why is another (brakes - death/injury - riding an elevator) not?

As they should be.

They are there for people to use if they choose to.

Even in porn they don't use them all the time.

There nothing 100% effective to prevent HIV. Don't forget you can get HIV/ AIDS by drug use, having blood transfered (that's what happened to that bloke who played the Predator in the predator films), accidently steeping on a stray needle with the virus on and so on. Eventually there will a cure and a vaccine or both for HIV if there is more research goes into it.

I would not be surprised if there is a religious agenda behind this research & much of Norman Hearst’s research crops up on religious websites. Bishops in the developing world are notoriously anti - condom & promote an unrealistic & moralistic view of normal human sexual conduct. A few years ago the Catholic Church promoted the idea that condoms have tiny holes in them through which HIV can pass!!! To suggest that condoms are not effective is extremely dangerous, just as dangerous as saying, although no one does, that simply using condoms means you can go around & be as promiscuous as you want.

That is a good point, for example the catholic church said that the birth control pill causes infertillity and early death and here in the UK a christian fundamentalist group were trying to spread lies about a vaccine for most forms of cervical cancer claiming that it cause infertility. Why do these guys want people to die rather then having things that can prolong their life?

I said seatbelt laws are only to pick people's pockets.
It should be the person's choice whether or not to use one.

Brakes are mandatory and it's the owner of the vehicle to maintain them.
Not being able to stop your vehicle can affect another person.

Not wearing your seatbelt can kill you and that is your choice.
I've been in two accidents without a seatbelt and I'm still here. :hatsoff:

If they survive they can sue. If they don't their relatives can sue.

Well, this is going off topic isn't it but I'll say one word Archaeopteryx, a transitional fossil.

Hoatzin's (bird that lives in the amazon) have claws at the end of their wings that allows them to climb trees :dunno: If that isnt a sign of a reptillian past then I dont know what is.


But I'm sure Will has another excuse for that aswell.
