Well Paul, Ace, Peter and Gene are gods.

saw Iron Maiden last year. they played too much of their new album. everybody was there to hear the Trooper and Run to the Hills, and the rest of the old stuff. they did eventually, but they kept the audience waiting a little too long, and didn't play quite enough.

been to a couple of festivals, but i usually end up in some random tent, blind drunk and stoned out of my mind, and can't remember a single band i've seen, but ringing ears and a general sense of 'awesome'.

Well the concert was called A Matter of Life And Death

I have only been to one concert (as far as a well known band). I went to see Rush this passed summer, they were amazing.

I have been working at major concert venues for the past 7 years. I see anywhere from 150 - 200 concerts a year. After your first 100 or so shows they become quite routine, especially when you work the same band several nights in a row.

Wilco in Cleveland, OH
New Pornographers and Okkervil River - Detroit, MI
R.E.M. With The National in Toronto, ON
A Place To Bury Strangers - Detroit, MI
Lallapolooza in Chicago, IL
Austin City Music Fest in Austin, TX
Radiohead in Cleveland, if they annouce a show one of these days

Planned this so far this year, hoping the spring will have so more good shows coming up in the Detroit area..

I hit about 20-30 shows a year..

Wow, it is impressive that you would admit to that, even if you did white out the name of the performer :1orglaugh:D:1orglaugh

Yeah, well...I figured if I'm gonna admit to that, I might as well make it a challenge for others.

saw 4 shows last year

rush
tool
dream theater

tool was definetly the best

Uh...is now the time to mention that I once saw Billy Ray Cyrus in concert?

Though never seeing him live, I must admit, I did buy Achy Breaky Heart when it first came out. But I was only like nine or around that age, so can you really hold it against me? I didn't know what I was doing. :dunno:

I don't blame you. Hey, I was 12-ish at the time myself.

You know, that song is one of the funniest NOT by Weird Al I've ever heard. :1orglaugh
