Coffee Addicts Not-So-Anonymous

Plain and simple: I fucking love coffee. I was never much of a big coffee drinker until recently. I have developed a severe addiction to it, averaging at least pot per day. So, let's talk about America's favorite drug: Coffee. How do you take it? What blends/grinds/etc do you enjoy? You know...basic coffee talk.

I'm drinking this Gevalia blend and it has a fantastic buttery smell to it. I take it black with a splash of cream. Yeah, I'm laughing at that last sentence, too.

Gevalia sells some really good coffee, so no complaints there. You might also try Mayorga coffees. The Mayorga Ethiopian Yirgacheffe is a superb blend which I highly recommend, but there are plenty of others.

Green Mountain Coffee. It came with the Kurig that we got and it is amazing. I perfer the breakfast blend or the stonger Kona blend.

I like a good columbian blend and I like my coffee black. No milk, no sugar. I also like making iced coffee (just make double strong coffee and run it through the used grounds a second time) on a hot day. Yuuum!!

I absolutely hate those sensaeo machines. The dutch are gaga over these things...my future mother in law used to drag hers to my house because I didn't have one until she gave me her old one.....because I had an "old fashioned" machine.

Yesterday, I found some coffee in my pantry, not knowing it was instant coffee. I didn't realize it until after I brewed it. It was probably the worst thing in the world.

I don't know if I'm just imagining things, but I find adding sugar to my coffee makes my coffee breath even worse. Fuck sweeteners.

Usually Dunkin dark, but if I don't feel too keen on paying that much for a bag of coffee, I get the Folgers dark roast.

I have no idea what blend the coffee I drink is. I don't even make it, when I'm out and I happen to pass my local super brand coffee chain I stop in and order a cup of whatever the fuck it is I usually buy.

Which is about twice a day.

Addict? No.
Person who pays way too much for a cup of coffee? Well, duh!
