I don't know if anyone has noticed...but there's a little of Oedipus and Electra complex in these movies. Son killing dad...brother and sister kissing ( of course they did not know this till E6) maybe back in the days Mr Lucas wanted to include these subject but did it in a subtle way so his movie would not get much heat. I mean this movie had strong themes like genocyde ( awhole planet gets blown up)...This is a very interestin thread. I still disagree with the legendary Obi Wan being the strongest, perharps the most resourceful skilled light saber fighter, in the past two episodes he hardly uses the force.

if there was an interview where he says it before the success of a new hope, i'll believe it. but thats after the success and he can claim it was the plan all along but i still dont believe it in the slightest.
i still love star wars, i'm not bashing it because it really doesnt matter(just that it makes lucas a liar lol.) i just dont believe it was a planned trilogy. i thank lucas greatly for 2 of my favorite trilogys, star wars and indiana jones. i dont think he's all there these days, but he had 2 truely spectacular ideas and he'll always have my respect for that even if i dont respect what he's doing now.

Actually didn't the so called prophecy said...that there was going to be the one strongest in the force to bring balance back to the universe ( I did not quote it verbatim)...Vader turn the tides when he killed the Emperor not Luke( who almost got easily killed by Palpatine in E6)...I believe that Vader in one point was the strongest he just did not have the hatred anymore thus not believing in the Empire Cause and therefore losing to Luke who after Vader's death becomes the most powerfull one in the force not before.
With todays technology in CG, Mr Lucas should have cable tv series of star wars, perharps a spin off...something that it is related to the main movies but does not afect the plot. Kinda like a bounty hunter series featuring the life of Bobba Fett and other notorious bounty hunters or the Sith Golden Age or a younger Solo with Chewie zooming across the galaxy in their smugglers day..

Aha, the Sith always pretends to be extint...always 2 there will be no more, a master and an aprentice. Most of the dakforce pupils come from disgrunted jedi's...E13 The Sith shall rise again and destroy that puny jedi order! ( they really need to hurry up with this dvd set to come out soon)...
