that I didn't get a cheap ass plasma screen TV.

You didn't get one from Circuit City because they don't exist!
The prices are pretty much the same as anywhere else.

the economy sucks so all the prices are going up. how does that make sense? I don't really know a whole lot about economics, but it would seem to me that if they made things cheaper, then people would buy it more = more business = more jobs = more money circulating = improving economy.

Starting to see good prices online though, they have this ViewSonic 42" 1080p for $549.99, refurbished but buy refurb stuff all of the time and never ran into problems.

so i went and checked out the store to see what kind of sales they had, and absolutely nothing was worth buying other than some blu rays which were 20% off, but i noticed that costco had cheaper ones than circuit city, for ex the shinning was 24 with 20% off at CC and costco was 15 , so do the math haha. but i figured they marked up their prices to make the max profit for the closing sales, but some things were rediculous, a 37 in lcd sony for about 910 i believe. thats a rip off haha oh wait it was 10% off already haha. wow i hope they start doing better sales cuz if not they wont make any profit back at all
