Because what you think is "ugly," they don't. They look how they WANT to look.

Very few women can pull off the buzzed hair style, but I think Christy can really have any hairstyle and still be attractive.

Why did Christy cut off her beautiful locks?
My guess is she got lice from one of her many pets and had no choice but to cut her locks. Or she just wanted to start a new by cutting the little hair she had. Either way she looks really good.
