Why didn´t Axl Rose made an solo-album, just with an accustic guitar and all that in lower soundquality? You know, grap a beer and then go into the studio and record this and that. But this new album, about 35 producers, mixers, co-mixers, co-producers, executive producers, assistant producers, all recorded in 9 different studios... hey... this music on this album can not be made with heart and soul! No no, rather I listen to New Kids on the block, really they ARE better. Or just Garry Barlow from Take That... amazing songwriter he is. Axl Rose could learn many things from Garry Barlow (Take That).

I dont like it to be honest. It's complete wank.
If the talent goes then so does the quality that made the band. Look at Megadeth, the quality is always there for the most part. This is because Dave Mustaine IS the talent behind the band. Skidrow on the otherhand, their talent was Sebastian Bach, when he left all that was left was a joke of a band. A bit like GNR when Slash and Duff and Matt and Izzy left. They are GNR in name only now. The talent is gone. And people know this, yet Rose thinks he can get away with it because GNR is a name that most people know. As his own name, alone, isn't good enough.

Really? Chinese Democracy outsold the last VR album that came out 2 years ago in under 2 weeks. While sales may be sluggish in the States and Britain, they're fairly healthy in Scandinavia and Germany, as far as I'm aware.
The problem is that Axl doesn't do publicity work - there are no press conferences, no interviews. He's shooting himself in the foot, but that's Axl Rose for you - he's always been self-destructive that way.
Really? Chinese Democracy outsold the last VR album that came out 2 years ago in under 2 weeks. While sales may be sluggish in the States and Britain, they're fairly healthy in Scandinavia and Germany, as far as I'm aware.

The always reclusive Axl, we have neither hair nor hide of him(unless you count the lawsuit against Dr. Pepper) but to hint that he wasnt a driving forse for GNR or if he wasnt a talent for that band then You're Crazy. Alot of dislike for the album stems from the fact that most everyone agrees that Axl is a dick and the amount of time it took for Chinese Democracy to finally come out people thought it should sound better than Appetite for Destruction. But how many albums after that could sound better? Chinese Democracy is solid not great and not bad, not worth 14 years and most surely not worth breaking up one of the greatest bands ever for.

Actually I think a man named Slash was the driving force of that band.

Once I got it through my head that Chinese Democracy is really The Axl Rose Band, then I started to like it. You can't compare it to true GnR, Axl is the only remaining member from the original lineup.
So in all I thought it was a good take on rock and I like it. Axl did an awesome job on Sebastian Bach's "Angel Down" Album, if you haven't checked that out you should. They did a "Back in the Saddle" (Aerosmith) cover and it just fucking rules.

I think Axl did wrong in taking so much time!!!! By this time, he could have realese like 3 albums!!!
