There used to be a time if a parent bought a beer they were allowed to let their child drink out of it. Just the vendor was not allowed to sell it to kids.

I love the differences in language. I think this article is the first time I've ever heard a baseball game referred to as a "match," silly English people. Aside from that, if the kid was a Philly fan, cut him some slack, you'd probably need a beer or two if your 2-time National League champion baseball team was about to lose to the "lowly" Padres.
