Their profession doesn't determine their ability to care for children.

Keep the thread on track people - When last I looked it was about charlie sheen, not 9/11 conspiracies.

It would appear unfortunately that the two go hand in hand. Sheen seems to have an opinion on everything so it seems you can talk about anything in reference to him, he recently mentioned the crisis in Egypt which is another can of worms we don't really want to open here

What if they start filming sex scenes in front of the kids? ps Don't you think the biological mother should be at least one of the two women looking after them or even pictured with them?

I started a thread long ago expressing a new found respect for Charlie - that has been pretty much shot to hell given his recent "holier than thou" rants.

Probably why I only have a passing administrative interest in this thread.

Exactly. More importantly, it doesn't define their morals.

How is it irrelevant? :dunno: The title of the thread is "Charlie Sheen" no "Two and a Half Men Scandal involving Charlie Sheen". I think that WTC7 has the right to post anything related to Charlie Sheen here. He wasn't being obnoxious about it and had a nice video that I for one found enjoyable and interesting. I think that we should look at it more as spirited conversation/debate than as trying to corrupt your mind or make you see "The Truth"... He was just bringing some information about the topic that he found interesting! What's wrong with that?? :dunno: Is it a popular social convention to mute those that speak against the majority of "what's popular/acceptable"? :dunno: I thought that this was a "Discussion Board" where we discuss things/topics, not bash people for having a view that's not "socially acceptable"........ :2 cents:

Don't be silly! And if it ever did happen, then yes - please, quickly and as past as possible - remove the kids. But, c'mon, you can't possible think they'd start filming fuck scenes in front of the kids.

The worst that will happen is the boys hear him fucking. If that's a social services matter, then every parent in the world is in trouble,

I love this neo-con moral undertone to the criticism Charlie S is getting that, somehow, because his girlfriends are porn stars, it makes them unsuitable to be mothers or child carers.

Really?

Wow - guess all porn stars with kids better get good lawyers pronto. And as for those women who hook and strip to support their kids .. they're fucked. And not in a good or profitable way.

It's really not that. Nothing about the character of Rachel Oberlin (Bree Olson) or Natalie Kenly. Yes, today The New York Post used Bree's real name. So it's now on public record.

Charlie threatened his ex-wife Brooke Mueller recently about "cutting her head off and putting it in a box" -- yeah I guess a Kevin Spacey - Gwyneth Paltrow - Brad Pitt scene like what developed in Se7en. And as recently as a few hours ago, Charlie talked about stabbing Brooke in the eye with a pen.

So of course, she got the order of protection against him and as a result their children were put in her custody.

It's a circus. Like I said previously -- he's become an embarrassment to his family. I truly feel sorry for his brother Emilio and his father Martin especially.

granted ... I suppose I was more referring to some of the posts here. that being said, there is a palpable, sotto voce, undertow in the coverage and commentary that his GFs professions are part of - if not part of the cause - of his seeming decline.

About his seeming decline.... Charlie's been there before. He's been to rehab at least twenty times. Detox countless others. He's made inflamatory comments publicly about AA and NA. And people in recovery do not appreciate it and rightly so.

His brother Emilio had nothing to do with him for almost a decade from 1988 to 1998 (because of his lifestyle, drugs, alcohol, prostitutes and porn starlets) and Emilio only changed his mind because their father Martin requested it in order to keep the Sheen family strong as a united front, so to speak. In 1998 was when Martin Sheen made that appeal to Charlie and then everyone in the world knew about his addiction problems. When he got married to Denise Richards in 2002, Charlie was back in everyone's good graces.

You have got to be kidding?

yes - clearly a joke. (if you have to ask.....)

Point is - everyone looks horrible under a microscope. We expect Sheen to NOT speak his mind and be a politician. Who cares? Why does it matter?

Charlie has two gorgeous babes and parties his tail off. Who cares? Who is really watching 2 and a half men?

at the end of the day, I can walk out the door and in 30 minutes put my hand on the shoulders of at least five people who make Charlie look like an amateur when it comes to drink, drugs and wild women.

The media always needs a whipping boy or girl, someone to watch fall and then push them down the last few steps, so they can shake their heads, go why-oh-why and then soak up hours of dead air and blank pages pontificating.

It was the same deal with Brittany Spears, with Lindsay Lohan, with Bobby Brown and Whitney 'wheaaaasoohhwheeeaaaohhwaahhhhhhweeoooahaaaaa Will Always Love You' Houston .....

I am! I thought that show was funny as hell!! It was one of my top 5 favorite shows to watch and it gave me something to be excited to watch every week. :2 cents::dunno:

its 2011.

:surprise:

The "kid" in the show is like 23......I thought they stopped filming the show in 2003:dunno:

Should be called Three Men, but I suppose it has it's moment.

August 24, 1990 was the release date for that film. It was made about 24 months prior to its release date -- around April 1988. They wrapped up filming about that time. It was about two weeks before Eight Men Out started filming.

Touche, sir! My bad, I forgot ALL about the release date/production date difference... Totally my bad on that one... (Fuck you, IMDB... :dunno:)
