The only reason all these assholes rip on Canada so much is because it makes them feel better about 'merica. So who really has the inferiority complex?

So? What does sexual preference have to do with the availability of superior snatch, economy, beer, healthcare and education? Robin might prefer the peen but if he ever decided to spice things up, he'd have his pick of some of the worlds hottest women. ;)

Spexy...be careful bragging about all the hot ass in Canada...Keep in mind, it's good that only a few of us are aware of the hidden beauty there...Have you forgotten we could just elect some doofus to invade and raid Canada for it's hot ass.

As it stands right now, I'm considering a petition drive to get Obama to stage a small scale invasion for Jenny Poussin alone.:horse:

Do you seriously think we see ourselves as being inferior to Canada? Oh you Canucks crack me up :1orglaugh

That is true STD..:dunno: But for some of your hot chicks and Bullwinkle introducing Americans to 'Mounties'..I'm not sure most of us would have ever noticed you guys.:o

Consider it a good thing though...along the lines of an aggressive, more powerful alien species never taking notice of dear old planet Earth.:2 cents:

I mean sure we may send a few scouts to probe like aliens but as long as nothing of import gets sent back to the mothership, you guys are safe.

wow, Such an uneducated and ignorant american assumption

I assure you, every 'flavour' of person is in Canada as well.
lol, he added a "u" to flavor.
That's just ignorant.

Toronto is one of the most (if not the most) multicultural cities in the world.

This is a well known fact.
Obviously its not that well known. Its is certainly not the most multicultural city.

No, see that's just the point. Canadians don't care. This article was written by Americans about Americans. :horse:

Just because you didn't know, doesn't make it 'not that well known'. It's becoming quite apparent that you know very little about this subject at all.

You obviously didn't read the article. If you did read the article you'd find out that in 2008 American diplomats in Ottawa turned on their TV's to find Canadian shows depicting “nefarious American officials carrying out equally nefarious deeds in Canada,” from planning to bomb Quebec to stealing Canadian water supplies.

Also it is noted that Canadian officials worried that they were being excluded from a club of English-speaking countries as a result of their refusal to take part in the 2003 invasion of Iraq. The United States had created a channel for sharing intelligence related to Iraq operations with Britain and Australia, but Canada was not invited to join.

And the most telling part is the part said Obama’s decision to make Ottawa his first foreign trip as president would “do much to diminish — temporarily, at least — Canada’s habitual inferiority complex vis-à-vis the U.S. and its chronic but accurate complaint that the U.S. pays far less attention to Canada than Canada does to us.”

I live in Canada. I know how Canadians feel about Americans. This is barely news in Canada.

Yes, I did read the article. Once again, these are American perceptions. I don't share them and in my experience they are not common.

True, we do know alot about the US. I don't see how that is a bad thing.

It's not an American perception that Canadian shows were depicting “nefarious American officials carrying out equally nefarious deeds in Canada,” from planning to bomb Quebec to stealing Canadian water supplies, this actually happened. It's not a perception that Canadian officials privately tried to make it clear to their American counterparts that they did not share their society’s persistent undercurrent of anti-Americanism,once again this actually happened.

Holy shit, this thread exploded.

Except maybe the parts where they speak french...

wtf? is that, speaking french in North America... :dunno:

The weird thing? Quebec is the only area in North America outside of Mexico that has a little something called culture.

As it stands, Canada is currently 2-0 when America decides it wants to invade. So yeah, good luck with that. You'll make it halfway to Ottawa when you all freeze to death.

Is this really different than what goes on in the States? Ever notice how nearly every villain in an action movie is foreign? Remember Hans Gruber in Die Hard? You Yankees make me sick. :nono:

Didn't the US wage war on Canada in the South Park movie? It's film, it's not reality.

You're the OP icecold - how does anything you're posting describe 'Canada's Inferiority Complex'?

Listen PT2...the only perspective I have on Canada is the one Jenny Poussin and Lauren Phoenix give me when they bend over and I gaze longingly between their ass cheeks. So any place that produces something like those two chicks among others is good with me....

I've been to Canada MANY MANY MANY MANY times and honestly, I don't know where Shimmy (not calling you out just an example) was trolling around at to develop such a neg opinion or what his expectations were but I have zero problem with Canada nor any of it's people.

Shimmy is not welcome in Canada. This upsets him.

I know, but we take our women very seriously. Ashleigh is a national treasure, and when I become Prime Minister I will put her on our hundred dollar bill.

And Shimmy was in Winnipeg. It's pretty easy to hate Canada (and life in general) if you have been to Winnipeg.
